Thanks Reaper, that was a favorite of mine too. A more modern era DT moment was during a pre season game, I can't remember who it was against but it was early on in the game (I think that Kenny Baumer was a rookie with us but not certain) and DT spun a guy around and got him to drop the gloves.

The reason that this fight stood out for me is that the next thing DT does is take off his helmet, slide off his elbow pads and then goes at it with the other guy. He gets pretty well worked if I remember right but it was a great memory. I think 99 was already on the team in fact he had to be but that is about all.

I also remember his first and his first interview. He did his best not to studder but he still stumbled a little bit. What a great guy. I am always disappointed in Dustin for not being more like DT. Its unfair but I can't help it.

Remembering Taylor then and watching Brown now, you can see the similarities in their play as well as their qualities as leaders. Both were solid body checkers, yet both were not very good at the fisticuffs.

Gretzky totally embellished that.

Brown is a lot like Taylor. And that's not a bad thing.
