i really don't care bout kickers but wit Longwell on BYE i wanna pick up a guy who got a late BYE so i dont have to worry about it for awhile. Janikowski is available I was gonna grab him. But anyone think his job may be in danger should i got Josh Brown instead?

Janikowski's going nowhere, he's got a huge contract and has been pretty good. I was in a similar situation in my league and I signed Josh Brown.. he's got a couple of decent matchups the next two weeks.

PT Cruiser missed practice for 2nd straight day. Ivory a decent speculative add if you need RB help. Especially when you consider the opponent in Carolina.

posted this in Advice thread. I'll say it in short in here. Go sign Ryan Torain is you have a open spot or someone your can afford to drop on your roster.
LaConfora reports Torain may be starter in next few weeks and the fragile Clinton Portis will be complement/3rd down back.

I need to pick up a back up TE for Clark where his bye is in 2 weeks.

Available options are Kevin Boss, Todd Heap, Tony Scheffler, Marcedes Lewis, B. Pettigrew, R. Gronkowski.

Any ideas?

I would go Pettigrew or Lewis.

Instead of Royal or Keller i think im gonna add Ryan Torain and just ride wit Smith(NYG) Ward and Williams(TB) as my WRs. I would add both but its a 12 roster spot league and Torain and SJax have same BYE so i need to hold on to Felix Jones.

I added Torain earlier last week in my other league and wanted to take a wait and see appoach on him and Started John Kuhn. Kuhn did balls. it didnt matter because even wit Torains points i still would of lost.

So with this Moss talk, I jumped on Brandon Tate in my 14 team keeper league. He might be worth a shot in regular leagues because he could slide into Moss' slot in the lineup. He won't be Randy Moss, but I think you'll get a legit starter out of it - Tate's a good player.

I added Tate in two of my leagues as well.

Unless there is another move, it looks like that trade is going down and I don't think New England would start Edelman aside Welker when they're the same player.

I picked up Vincent Jackson with the hopes of maybe NE making a move for him.

ESPN's Adam Schefter believes that a Jackson-to-New England deal is "not happening."

Recommendation: The Patriots just traded Randy Moss and are armed with a boatload of draft picks, so there has been speculation, but Schefter points out that Jackson's off-field issues, coupled with what it would take to satisfy his contract demands make him a poor fit for the Patriots. Anything is possible of course, but the odds of this deal happening seem slim.
Doesnt look good for you.

I'm on the Tate bus.

He sits behind Boldin, Nicks, Collie, Williams and Knox on my chart at the moment but I am definitely hoping he can eclipse my other inconsistent back-ups. I'm also trying to flip Austin Collie into Miles Austin but we will see.

Steve Smith is out and Jacoby Jones seems doubtful, I need to pick up a WR off the waiver wire:

Naanee vs OAK
Steve Johnson vs JAC (2 TDs so far)
Demaryius Thomas vs BAL
Henderson vs ARI
Breaston vs NO

Which one should I pick up? Naanee is the guy I am leaning towards.

I'd go with Naanee. Henderson isn't a bad pick but Brees has too many options to tag Devery as "the better option".

P.S. Breaston is ruled OUT against the Saints

Don't be confused by Steve Johnson, he is not a primary target at all on an inept offense (he's dropped to #3 behind Evans and Parrish, and I would not be surprised if Nelson ends up passing him as well). He very easily could give you 0 points this week.

Breaston is injured, but if you have a bench spot he's a good add IMO. With their bye coming up, I suspect he'll be ready to go after that and give some solid production.

Thomas has a bad matchup and Denver receivers aren't reliable, you just never know which one is going to go crazy which week.

Naanee has a tough matchup against Oakland, so therefore I'd go with Henderson.

I can't believe I did not know about Breaston's injury. I went with Henderson.

I still think it's more flukey, but it's definitely something to keep an eye on. He's been targeted 31 times to Evans' 29 and Parrish's 21, including 9 last week to Parrish's 5 and Evans' 8.

Obviously this depends on what your free agent pool looks like, but IMO the WR pickup of the week is Amendola (particularly in a PPR league). This is also assuming Tate isn't available. Amendola was targeted NINETEEN times this weekend, and while I wouldn't expect that every week, clearly he's gonna get a lot of balls thrown his way with Clayton out for the year.

Roy Williams
Jabar Gaffney
Davone Bess
Kenny Britt

Thoughts? Thanks.

With Finley out, I need another TE.

Available:

Greg Olsen (most points among available TE's)
Tony Moeaki
Joel Dreesen
Jermaine Gresham
Tony Scheffler
Aaron Hernandez
Kellen Winslow
Todd Heap
Donald Lee (I know, out for 2 weeks, but will get more passes now that Finley is out)
Owen Daniels

Hard to pick one...

Also, would you start either of those guys instead of Rob Gronkowski? Hard to figure out that NWE passing situation now.
