Phillies park factor for run scoring has been near 1 since they moved the fence back and put that steel fence on the top the fence.

Still have the best record league-wide. Yanks and Rays both lost, Minnesota won. Gonna be interesting watching those three duke it out. I'm rooting for the Rays over the Yanks.

You know what, I really don't want to be the team the Braves beat to celebrate. I'd rather they get in by the Padres losing if they're going to. Let's sweep 'em again.

Let them celebrate against the Phillies. The Phils can then just put on their NL EAST CHAMPIONS shirts.

Halladay for Game 1 and Oswalt for Game 2 of the NLDS.

I really thought Hamels would go as the #2 to split the right-handers, but maybe it's just because he'll be the last to pitch. Hopefully he stays composed and his feelings aren't hurt.

Interesting... I personally would have went Halladay, Hamels, Oswalt, just to split up the righties and because Hamels has been on fire (barring that last Mets game). Hamels seems to have a better head on his shoulders this year, so I think he'll take it fine.

Man I want the playoffs to start.

It makes alot of sense the way I see it. If the standings stay the same we'll be playing the Reds in the first round. Oswalt has 30 career starts against Cincinnati and is a ridiculous 23-3 with a 2.81 ERA. This sets him up to pitch both Game #2 and #5 if necessary.

Eh, Halladay and Oswalt have been the better pitchers this year... Oswalt's 1.65 ERA and 0.88 WHIP since coming to Philly kind of demand a bit of respect on that front. Additionally, Game 3 ends up being really important in a 5 game series. If you win the first two games, you're going to be looking to clinch... and if you split (or lose both) the first two games, then Game 3 is massively important.

Also, it seems quite likely that we're going to play Cincy in the first round.

23-3 2.81 ERA

Roy Oswalt *ing owns Cincy in his career.

BTW, I'm pretty stoked about getting the Reds in the NLDS. They've been scuffling a bit since September came around, and they struggled all year long with good teams. They've done a commendable job beating up on sub-.500 clubs, but they've gotten smoked by anyone above that mark... ESPN had it up on SC a couple weeks ago.

I'm just happy if we can avoid San Francisco. They scare me which is something that the Reds and Braves do not for the most part.

THIS. San Fran can beat us. The Reds and Braves, especially of late, are much less likely to pull that off.

I hope it works out that way, but there's still a chance we don't play the Reds of course.

Also, I missed this last night, but the Fightins did not. Astonishing numbers.

The best part about the Reds is that Scott Rolen is on the team. It will be all the sweeter when we beat them.

That must be a lot of RBI's if they start using letters to count them.

S is the 19th letter in the alphabet.

S+S = 38, not enough RBIs.

S*S = 361, a good year, but not enough RBIs for 737 HR.

So it must be:

S^S = 1,978,419,655,660,313,589,123,979 RBI.

In case anyone has not already guessed... to date J-Roll has 7 HRs and 37 RBIs and plays Shortstop... Garbage in/garbage out... If there are not enough slots, just cram it in the slots provided.

NLDS - 5
NLCS - 1, 7
WS - 6

I have this dream where I get to see every clincher the rest of the way, though I foolishly didn't make the trip down to DC Monday.
