Not to mention that it's very unfanlike to root against your team.
Well, if you want to think about it rationally... a three-way tie would be great for the Phils, as it would force teams to use pitchers and get 'em all out of whack. However, **** that, I just hate the Braves.

I am in this line of thinking. I've hated the Braves even longer than the Mets.

Eh, I want the easiest road possible to the WS, and that's through the Reds, not the Giants.

Baez, now Zagurski? Charlie is trying to hand it to them as much as possible.

As much as the logical part of me wants to see the three teams in a two day Play-in scenario... Beating Ratboy Wagner and knocking the Braves OUT of the POs is mighty sweet in itself... I'd love to see a 9th inning rally to shut up the Tomahawk Choppers for once and for all.

Just think how great this series would have been had it actually meant anything to the Phillies except getting ready for the Postseason.

Wagner has a good slider, but someone must have told Schneider and Dobbs just to watch those pitches.

Now I'll be flicking between Skins-Eagles and Giants-Padres... until the Flyers start. Hopefully Chooch is okay...

I was out when he got hit... what's the story? Was he drilled bad? Did he look like he was injured badly? Did they take him out right then?

He got drilled in the elbow area, was taken out right after Mayberry hit a home run. Looked like he was in a decent amount of pain.

Bobby sent over a bottle of fine aged Bourbon to Charlie after the game for putting in Baez.

FWIW... Tweet from a couple hours ago from Todd Zolecki: "There has been no Carlos Ruiz update from the Phillies. Might mean he is OK. Will let everybody know after the game."

... But it may also mean they are checking it out and staying mum I suppose.

EDIT: A couple minutes ago he tweeted this follow up: "Ruiz said he thinks he should be OK by Wednesday. Said x-rays were negative. Will see doctors tomorrow. Said elbow is sore."

Good news as long as it doesn't hamper his play, even if no break.

Phillies get the Reds. The return of Scott Rolen. Get him out the first few times and he'll go run and hide in the corner.

Bring on the Reds. I'm guessing it'll be Arroyo-Cueto-Volquez vs. Halladay-Oswalt-Hamels. Significant advantage Phillies.

Baez had better not be on the postseason roster.
