Grats from another Jays fan... We're all pulling for Doc up here... The man is a class act, and we're happy to see him get the chance he's been waiting for his whole life...

Funny you mention that. I actually do.

Guy pitches 8 innings of perfect baseball and still loses to Roy Halladay.

With a Yankees loss, you guys become the team to beat overnight. Also Philly is Canada's team!

Yankees take the lead. Twins won't win a game in the series; my fearless prediction.

I take no interest in regular season baseball and have no real allegiance. But, there's something awesome about playoff baseball. What a way to start.
I'm hoping you Phillies fans get to celebrate another championship.

The most commanding performance I've ever seen in 22 years of watching baseball...Halladay is the best pitcher in the game. Everything to say has already been said but sweet tiny infant baby jesus...

I was at the game on 9/22/95 when the Reds last made it to the post season (I remember the date because it was my last night in Philly before moving to Portland). Now 15 years later, they make it back. Against the team they beat to make it last time. And this happens.
****ing awesome!!!!!
Go Phils!!!

Ruiz looked a bit awkward making that last play; I didn't notice until this morning's replays that the ball hit the bat while the bat was on the ground. Pretty nice play by a catcher.

Yeah. Obviously there was no intent to leave the bat in fair territory (or was there), but could you imagine if that's how the no-no was broken up? Thankfully Chooch made a good play and finished off the domination.
