eh... screwed by hoffman on that. I think lehner would have got it had the pass made it through.

the mistake on that play was caughing it up at the leafs blueline. Hoffman played it right on the 2-on-1, just got unlucky.

I know right? Ridiculous. At least he's got 2 goals in this game now.

Was it Hoffman or Wiercioch?

These ****** announcers can't seem to get anything right.

I swear I heard Peter Wierchioch at one point.

Small sample from what I've seen but Lehner looks to be on the right track. His rebound control is worse than Emery's so he will need a year or two to work on that, but I see the potential.

O'Brien I will have to agree with what other people been saying that he's useless.

It will definitely be interesting to see how Hoffman and Butler''s game translates next week playing with pro's.

I was happy when we picked Hoffman and despite what people been saying earlier on how it's not hard to score 50+ in the Q, he seems to be proving it's not a fluke. (Playing with rookies obviously but his scoring punch is still there)

Jesus that's Gryba?

Amazing skater for a guy his size, blocks shots, throws big hits, responsible at his own end, stands up for his teammates and fights. I think we found our temporary Volchenkov replacement. He looks like a better skater than Volch, Carkner and Sutton.

I can't wait till camp.

He sounded surprisingly media interview savvy for a young guy. Answered the questions without any "uh" or "you know" being fitted in every third word.

For the most part, people get a little bit ahead of themselves when forwards are drafted in the 1st round, and scrutinize way too much when you have a forward drafted later rounds.

When you got a guy who has a knack for putting the puck in the net, you've got something, no matter where he's drafted. Still up in the air as to whether they'll translate that into the NHL, but I wouldn't count them out at all.
