Start/Sit Week 2

Alright, i nabbed brandon jackson, but this puts me in a bit of a quandry. I already had wes welker sitting on the bench but want to play him because moss will be covered and brady has to pass to someone.

WR - start 2 of:
Greg Jennings
Calvin Johnson
Wes Welker

RB - Start 1 of:
Ryan Mathews
Brandon Jackson
Jahvid Best

Jennings/Welker: I don't like CJ this week because of his QB
Jackson/Mathews: Best didn't look good in week 1. Was lucky to score twice.

definately williams, and mendenhall slightly over mcfadden. I'm low on mendenhall with the line problems - i think he has more 'bust' potential this week than mcfadden but if all goes well for both he should finish out a bit ahead.

I'm taking collie over garcon for now. He had the lead in targets 12 to 10, but more importantly garcon only caught 3. If he continues to drop them, collie will be a much better option.

Harvin

Moreno, McFadden

Although I do believe Michael Bush will start to poach carries from McFadden, who will fall off after facing the very generous Rams' defense.

Barber and McFadden - Stewart didn't get many touches in week 1 and that will probably be the case Sunday.

Bernard Berrian vs MIA

or Jacoby Jones @ WAS?

Berrian being missing in action and the Shank seemingly being the only guy Favre wanted to pass to last week scares me. Yet, with Foster's emergence, it seems like Houston is going to be more balanced this year and AJ/Daniels/Walter seem to be ahead of JJ in the passing pecking order.

That's tough. My gut says Jones.

The biggest question for me is McFadden vs. Stewart.
Harvin over Breaston. It's really close, but i think MIN will look to get their passing game going and harvin has another full week to practice with grandpa. Atlanta's secondary should be able to handle breaston as well.

McFadden is the must start to me at RB. Stewart and Moreno both have some question marks, and barber is a tier below unless you want to hope for a TD. My problem with starting moreno (which would otherwise be automatic in this situation) is what Seattle managed to do against the 49ers run game.

Bush and Garcon. I dont trust legedu yet and the chargers should run a lot more effectively this week, taking away from the passing game. I'd also hope they arnt behind and forced to pass as much. Also i expect somewhat of a bounceback week from Floyd.

Neither are great options, but i'll go with Berrian against a weaker secondary. Check to see if either mike williams' are on your waivers.

Vick and Ryan should be close. For this week, i'm inclined to play vick, but ryan is a safer play.

Both stewart and moreno are guys I want to stay away from this week, as i've stated above. I have to think stewart gets the ball more against TB though, and if SEA's d-line is for real, he'll fair much better than moreno.

Start 3 of the following WR:

Larry Fitzgerald
Roddy White
Wes Welker
Hakeem Nicks

Yes, my WR are that good. Too bad I had Kolb at QB last week.

They aren't available. Top WRs available are Mark Clayton, Devery Henderson, Eddie Royal, Brandon Lloyd, Jordan Shipley and Mike Thomas.

One thing I don't like is being able to use only 1 TE. I have Finley and the Gronk and I can only use one. I think Gronk can be more valuable than Berrian or Jones in certain weeks. Should I pursue a trade with a team that needs a TE and has a WR surplus?

I'd put a waiver on Mark Clayton. He's a solid option in a deep league as he becomes the #1 WR in STL even though its a weak team. Bradford seems to have instant Chemistry with Clayton and targeted him the most in Week 1. He probably won't produce like he did last week but i wouldnt be surprised if he puts up decent numbers. He's definitely a better option the Berrian who's very inconsistent or Jones. To be honest Clayton Royal or Henderson are all better options.

what straka said minus henderson. Clayton could have a great season with st louis seemingly deciding to let bradford throw as much as he wants, and clayton is clearly his target.

Henderson and Jones are in the same situation: too inconsistent unless an injury above them occurs. Right now you have to hope for a touchdown week from them or you'll go home very disappointed.

I figure I gotta put in Welker no matter what, so my other two options are between Hines Ward, Hakeem Nicks and Jeremy Maclin. Who y'all got?

For those asking about DeAngelo Williams, you better start him.

NFL.com has him as the "start of the week" in their start/sit article. CBS was also saying very good things about him.

He let my team down last week but I think he'll make up for it this week. He's going to have a huge game.

i feel your pain on kevin kolb, but i still think he'll get a chance to have a few good games when he gets healthy

your wr's are good, fitz and white are studs and welker will get tons of looks next week with revis taking moss away...therefore i'd bench nicks because he's not getting 3 td's every week

all 3 are pretty similar, but hines ward is the old consistent geezer that keeps on ticking

I am a little surprised at the answers. I think I'll wait a week since I think Berrian could still get some TDs with Rice out and I am not convinced STL will continue to be the big time passing team that they appeared to be in week 1. I am really only trying to fill 1 spot here (W/R) since I already have the Carolina Steve Smith, Miles Austin and Jabar Gaffney as my 3 WRs. Heck, it just downed on me that I should probably just start Cadillac Williams in that W/R spot instead of Jones or Berrian (I have MJD and Foster in the 2 RBs spot), although this week at Carolina isn't a great matchup for Cadillac.
