I'm thinking TSN is thinking that the Mitchell signing is a big deal for our team and when Greene comes back, we will be incredibly solid on D and goaltending...
But if we signed IK, probably we don't get Mitchell...point is his addition to our roster probably leap-frogged us over NJ but who knows what NJ's ranking is without IK.
Here's the funny thing tho', speaking of NJ...this is the ranking BEFORE they fix their salary cap so maybe their real ranking is like 7 to like 12 or so once they get rid of a significant player to fit under the cap. So their real ranking should be lower when the season actually starts...

So basically, worst case scenario is to be the odd team out of place in Conference finals? Very hard to imagine considering last year's 1st round exit, and off-season development, but it does make me smile, for the time being. I should make sure I have online access to Kings season, plus coffee ready to make it all possible (usually puck drops around 4:15 to 4:45 locally here).
From a fantasy perspective, and that's basically what TSN is, this doesn't surprise me. Think about it.......
Doughty: 55-60 points
JJ: 40+ Points, 50 not out of the question.
Kopitar: 30+ goals, 80+ points
Smyth: 20+ goals, 50+ Points
Brown: 20-25 goals, 50+ points
Simmonds: 20+ goals 50+ points
and the list goes on and on.......
This team could very well have 6 or 7 20 goal scorers.
Hahahahahaha #6-#1 (not gonna happen) lololol.. I'm shocked at that we're top 5, I somewhat don't like it that much cuz now everyone's expecting us to do well, anything short of 2nd-3rd round in the playoffs is disappointing, in my opinion
I love watching the Kings haters implode with this ranking on the TSN comment section. As a Kings fan, its much more fun getting targeted/bashed than being irrelevant.
