Can't imagine that the Hayes brothers (and the rest of the college kids, if any are left) will give up their NCAA eligibility to attend training camp.

I couldn't remember if going to a professional camp counted as playing professional hockey or not. I'll take them out.

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Huet at camp, if only to showcase his skills to scouts from other leagues. The Swiss League has started and he's not playing for any of the teams yet.

What happened to the rumors that he was on his way to Freiburg in the NLA?

AFAIK, prospect camp is OK, training camp isn't.

Me and a couple guys were talking about blowing off work for a couple hours on Tuesday to check out the "championship" game.

Jackson and Boomer have pretty good stat lines.

Anyone know a little bit more about them? Think they'll be anything more than invitees?

Nick Tarnasky? Really? I recall him being pretty worthless in Nashville.

If Steele Boomer has no NHL career he can always try to crack the adult film industry...with a name like that he's got a shot.

Tarnasky is likely Rockford fodder. Guy is willing to eat punches.

Isn't that what Hagel and Brookbank are for? Plus Id think Beach adds toughness too.

I can only imagine that he's a friend of Hossa's or something

Yeah, he is probably Hossa's friend. They both started playing hockey in Trencin. But still funny

Went to school with the guy back in Edmonton. Level headed kid for the most part. He plays a very solid game, isn't afraid to drop the gloves and stand up for his teammates. Not the flashiest player but gets the job done. NHL comparison? Brad Richardson

Hope this helps?
