BTW your thinking of Stillmans hit on Nilson, and uou can throw that "logic" out the window, because Gelinas ran Kubina in game 3.
No, the Sarich hit from behind on Gelinas. The Stillman hit was a Hunter type elbow. Its one thing to elbow a guy, its another to jump while elbowing the guy.

Is that a rebuttal to what I said because I don't see how that changes anything. As I said, he wants to be noticed. He wants to be a recognizable face. In this case it's hurt him.

It is amusing how some people think they know what others are thinking.

How do you know that Fraser wants to be noticed? Do you know Fraser personally, or do you have some kind of crystal ball that allows you to read minds?

Kerry Fraser has been in the NHL since the 1970s. He is the NHL's senior official. Whether he wants to be or not, he will be a recognizable face as long as he continues his NHL career.

I don't hear anybody complaining about Ray Scapinello being a recognizable face.

Thats because if its offside, its called.

Not like the refs, "oh he was hooked but it wasnt a scoring chance and they are 3-0 up already and I dont want the game to get out of hand so Ill let it go" decsions. 30 seconds later the other team does the same thing and its called a penalty.

That is why they are so inconsistant and why everyone complains about them.

Excellent post. I think the above phraise should be posted in nearly all of the threads on the playoffs board.
