It might look like a very small crack... but it's actually a huge rift for a 1cm man...

His speed looked fine, shot was great, hands looked great. Hard to tell from watching a few drills with the 'C' group, but back injury or not, he was much better than anyone else out there. My prediction- he gets in a few preseason games and makes a run for a roster spot.
His speed really I don't think will be an issue, he has a deceptively high top speed. People only focused on this issue because it is one of the only parts of his game that people could actually pick away at, and this dates back to him getting drafted and having Bob Mckenzie talk about how that is one of the only drawbacks. From then on, fans take that as a finite truth that will not change and instantly associate Hodgson with "not fast enough".

People say the same thing about John Tavares.

Put a quick player with him and give him the puck in the offensive zone.

"Cody Hodgson survived "battle" drills and look so good, Alex Burrows thinks prospect could join main Canuck team by end of the week."

You know as far as I can tell everything anyone says so far is purely speculation when it comes to Hodgson.

I am stoked however about what people in the know say about Hodgson; they say he is a huge talent, hard worker and very intelligent. Who unfortunately has been set back by injury. I really like the fact that Gary Robert is working with him and what Gary Roberts is saying about Hodgson.
If I was a betting man (and I am not), Hodgson looks like he would be worth betting some chips on. I would bet that by this time next year if he is healthy, there are going to be a lot of nay sayers eating their words.
I might lose this bet, but I could sure place my money down in on worse percentages.
I am going to give him time both for his injuries to heal and for him to get back into the swing of things; whether that is with the Canucks or Manitoba.
I say Manitoba, mainly because I do not think some time there especially after missing so much time would hurt his development.

Guess who looked great and scored some nice goals!

Burrows better be careful. When there's a rift between a player and coach you don't want to take a players side. I wouldn't be surprised to see Burrows on the 4th line when he comes back from injury.

He must feel safe being one of two French players left under the French coach.

Clearly the rift is not just with Hodgson and AV but with Burrows and AV too thus Burrows' comments and siding with Hodgson.

Is this what you guys are talking about?

Kidding? Over the past few weeks I have been convinced, through repetition, that there is a rift between the two sides. The evidence speaks for itself.

And lol ''the Hodgson Saga'' is just perfect.

Too vague for me to understand. Media repetition? HF Board repetition? Or repetition from a source that would actually have some true insight into the situation?
