Saw Dido play some good years on bad teams here in SJ...kid's be proving people wrong for a few years now. Never drafted in the OHL, picked up by the SJ Seadogs, and was a complete warrior on our bad squads here in SJ. He scored 95 pts on a not-so-good SJ team in 07-08: http://hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/leagu...039802008.html
...that roster wasn't awful, but was far from what we've got now.
I'm glad to see him in the Hawks' system, personally.
i've watched him play in
junior. He never took a shift off. He's one of those players whos sum is greater than his parts. He doesnt stand out in any particular area, but his skating is good enough for the pros. All of his success is based on his work ethic. Ive rarely seen him outworked for the puck, and his defensive positioning is solid. We are talking 4th liner here, but he has the chance to be an effective one
