Memorial Cup Question

I'm fairly new to following the CHL, so I don't want to be chewed out too much with this question:
I understand the MC format where its the 3 league winners plus host. Since Mississauga is a favourite to win the OHL, and if they were to win the OHL championship, would that nullify the OHL's berth or would the runner-up represent the league?

The runner-up will gain a spot.
