Even if Savard cleared an nhl physical i doubt that there would be a ton of interest in him at this point. Why would they? His contract is huge and a true anchor when you consider that he may not even be able to play and if or when he does his concussion history makes him too much of a gamble for the risk at this point.

Bostn is stuck with him and his contract until he proves himself healthy enough for a long enough period of time to warrant the risk. When he is healthy and on he will be back to having good value, in the mean time why would anyone be willing to take such a big gamble? If you think Im wrong then time will prove who is right and who is wrong.

There is absolutely no reason to expect Savard to fail a standard NHL physical for any team. And honestly if he failed one now due to PCS the docs (and lawyers for that matter) would be looking very hard at the medical reports that cleared him to play at the end of last year.
It happens. Paul Kariya immediately comes to mind.

You can have a concussion, be dizzy for a few days. Come back fine, pass every test in the book. And then 4 months later Sneeze and shake your head, and develop Post concussion syndrome.

Lombardi would be dumb to make a move like that.
