I don't want the Spezzas/Alfies/Gonchars of the team playing against borderline NHL'ers trying to make an impression by throwing their weight around.

So to confirm, if I have all 4 sportsnet stations, will I be able to watch tomorrow's game on Sportsnet Ontario?

You do realize that there are 8 preseason games right?

That lineup is actually pretty normal. And I've noticed from year's past that teams tend to dress more of their veterans for their home preseason games and then send out a pretty star-depleted lineup on the road. Last year there were some complaints when the Sens had some games out East and sent pretty much the same kind of lineup they're sending to TO. But if you're going to have that many games, what do you expect? You aren't going to dress your veterans very much and they sure as hell don't need to start playing in games 4 days into camp when they aren't the ones fighting for jobs.

Do any games at all get streamed online pre-season or regular season? This is the first time I've had internet fast enough to watch streamed games.

Fri Sep 24 - Senators@Canadiens = No Broadcast

Sat Sep 25 - Canadiens@Senators = Rogers 22

Tue Sep 28 - Sabres@Senators (Dundas, ON) = TSN

Wed Sep 29 - Maple Leafs@Senators = SNS (still not sure what channel this is)

Fri Oct 1 - Senators@Rangers = Center Ice

Sat Oct 2 - Rangers@Senators = Center Ice
Center Ice will not be broadcasting any preseason games... or atleast that's what I was told by Telus.

Sportsnet East has Yankees @ Devil Rays tomorrow instead of Sens @ Leafs. Can't imagine Sportsnet Ontario would ever get the same treatment.

A bit OT, but does anyone know if a games on RDS are blacked out or not? I live in Edmonton so I should get most Sens' games, but there are quite a lot of them on RDS.... but I don't want to watch the Sens' games on a french network. I really hope Center Ice doesn't blackout.

I was able to select it tomorrow for PVR recording. I don't think I can do that if it's going to be blacked out.

That unfortunately means nothing. If they black it out, then we get something else. It said 'where available' on my guide, which tells me, that in some locations a 'black out is in effect' for some reason.

If rogers 22 had all the rookie games why wouldn't they have the exhibition games as well?

I have Vancouver vs Calgary on my guide for tomorrow on Center Ice, and I remember they played a few last year, but I have Rogers?

MSG is supposed to be broadcasting the two Ranger games, so I'm assuming CI will carry it.

It's also not supposed to be a time to put out your best players, and risk injury. Every team puts out prospects with solid roster players, it allows them to see how they will play at closer to NHL pace. With 50 players at the camp and an 8 game schedule, does it really surprise you that much that they would want to see what the non-roster players can do? Watching our stars would be great, but seeing them dismantle other teams prospects, while taking away opportunities from our young players is ridiculous.

It wouldn't surprise me if Toronto scratched their top players... I'm drawing a blank.

"Tuesday's game is a Sportsnet Ontario regional broadcast, which means it's only available to providers who carry the Centre Ice package in pre-season. TSN will air Wednesday's rematch"

Unless you're an Ottawa fan living in the GTA. Sucks because I miss like 40 games a year that broadcast on Sportsnet East.

I have rogers basic and ultimate(?) package which gives me only channels 2-60 something. Will I be able to catch all of the Senator games?

Not sure about Canada, but for those in the US, the NHL Network is stepping it up big time and showing 35 preseason games, including 4 Ottawa games. Tomorrow's game, Wednesday's game, the 9/28 game, and the 9/29 game will all be on the NHL Network, even though they're replays I believe.

Better than nothing for those of us in the US.

As a fellow western Canadian Sens fan, I can assure you that games on RDS are not blacked out on CI.
