So for us poor shmucks in Ottawa that have Rogers we're out of luck for tonight?

Or is the CI preview/NHL network playing it?

I'd rather not use my ps3 to stream it on the home theater.

I can't wait for us to destroy the leafs. Just read this on TSN and it p'ssed me off:

The Ottawa Senators had best beware when they face the Maple Leafs in a pair of pre-season games this week.

After all, Toronto is already fighting mad.

It would not shock me to see one of the leafs do something stupid.

The Citizen shows it as being on Sportsnet in the TV Listings on the sports page. A lot of confusion around this one so I guess we'll only find out for sure at 7 pm tonight.

Yeah, Burke's been encouraging their players to play over the top in camp and pre-season. I expect to see lots of hits and gloves dropped. Hopefully nobody gets injured.

OK, how do I rephrase that without sounding like such a *****?

Hey guys, here's what the Leafs are going to be dressing for tonight's game. A few of the big names as it is fan celebration type game.

Versteeg - Kadri - Armstrong

Mueller - D'Amigo - Irwin

Zigomanis - Hanson - Brown

Hamilton - Crabb - Rosehill

Phaneuf - Kaberle

Gunnarsson - Lebda

Lashoff - Gysbers

Gustavsson

Rynnas

Any ideas what your lineup will look like? I know a bunch of regulars aren't dressing.

Lehner is playing the whole game now because Mike Brodeur is sick.

I guess he'll sit on the bench? Team 1200 said Lehner gets the whole game so I don't know.

I have rogers with center ice and this game is listed as being broadcast on that, so if you have Center Ice, you are in luck

Forwards:
Wick, Butler, Smith, Foligno, Neil, Kelly, Hoffman, Winchester, Locke, Shannon, Keller, Spencer

Defence:
Cowen, Lee, Carkner, Campoli, Hale, Benoit

Looks like a good opportunity for guys like Wick, Butler, Hoffman to show what they can do against a pretty legit NHL top 4.

I emailed Sportsnet yesterday and just got this response:

"Thanks for your recent email. Blackout restrictions set forth by the NHL will only allow us to broadcast tonight's game on Sportsnet Ontario and make it available to viewers in Ontario living west of the Belleville/Pembroke line. Sincerely Jim LaChapelle Audience Relations"

Hmmm..I wonder who will get the C tonight, Kelly or Neil...or do they not do that in pre-season?

They had letters in the rookie tournament, I expect them to in pre-season as well.

Kelly's the obvious captain in that lineup. Neil and Foligno would be my guess for the As.

Kelly wore it last year for a pre-season game, I'd suspect it's him.

So there's no hope of seeing this game if you've got rogers and no center ice?

Pretty sure he means he takes an online stream and plays it on his TV through a PS3. But I'm not sure we have an online stream?

Sens/Leafs game tonight available on SNET Ontario (Leafs region). It will be carried on Centre Ice in Ottawa broadcast region.

I assume the Ottawa broadcast region is the SNET East region, but I cant find the game listed on my CI package.

EDIT: Found it, YES!

That sucks. I understand about blackouts during the regular season, but we're talking about "pre-season" here, man. Not a game, but we're talking about pre-season.
