I might have to get some for the same thing tomorrow night. And for the limo.

I almost went with Sailor Jerry's instead of Kraken. I'm happy with my choice.

Ice cold Kraken is on ice cold Jager's level. So good. I've got my Kraken in the freezer. Will have some of that later.

Sailor isn't bad, and is 92 proof, but isn't as smooth as Kraken.

This is my last drink for the night. I'm supposed to wake up for an early morning run.
I'd say this was a successful National Rum Day for me.

Sailor is definitely the rougher of the rums I've had tonight. Much better mixed with a cola.

I can handle that. Just tried a sip of captain before adding the coke. Won't be doing that again

I had to have a quick private stock shot after the Sailor to get the rough taste out of my mouth. I'm done with shots, might have a nice mixed drink or two though.

do you guys have exclusively rum stocked liquor cabinets or something? Or am I just a bum? Is captain like the Bud Light of the Rum world and I'm some sort of loser?

The private stock is Captain Morgan. I have a bottle of regular Morgan as well as Bacardi (just in terms of rum). I just like variety and don't drink every day, so I have a lot of different kinds of stuff that stockpiles.

Kraken has definitely became my favorite Rum. I used to drink Tattoo, but it's been a few years since I've had it.
If mixing, Kraken tastes great with some cream soda/root beer.

I'm not overly crazy about Pumpkin beers, but The Great Pumpkin is awesome.
