Yes sir I do. Although I haven't bought any in ages. But yeah Crown is always great. Whether it's mixed with Pepsi, or straight, or paired with a nice cigar, etc.
When I buy hard liqour I tend to rotate things (I.E. I'll buy vodka for awhile, then Jagermeister, then Scotch, or just normal whiskey like Crown) to keep things interesting. Generally if I just want beer I'll do the same thing and buy different beers each time I go to the liqour store as well.
I know that after I'm done all of these Guinness's and Mill Street Cobblestone's, I'll be off the stout wagon for awhile.

The problem is unlike Ontario here in Montreal (Quebec) we don't have a beer store which carries a **** load of different companies and all. We have the basic stuff like Molson and Labatt and then all these beers like Corona, Heineken, Stella and Becks. I need to try different ones but the problem is how to get them

The Beer Store sucks. I get all my beer at the LCBO (the liqour store here in Ontario).
Really the Beer Store is just for drinkers of swill who want 24's of Molson, Labatt, Coors, Budweiser, Lakeport etc.

I think i'm going to pick up some Moretti on the weekend(Italian beer) had some this past summer and it was really good. Maybe that will put me in the mood again
Stone Ruination IPA is my favorite IPA I have tried. I haven't had the chance to try a lot of the west coast ones yet though.
That's a solid IPA. For eastern US ones, I'd recommend DogFish Head 60 and 90 min, Southern Tier 2XIPA, Great Lakes Lake Erie Monster (comes out in the spring). Hope Devil from Victory is good too.
Also, had anyone had Bell's Hop Slam? We just got it at Whole Foods and I've heard raving reviews (BeerAdvocate score of 100 and 94 from the Bros which is really highly rated). It's 14.99 for 6 but I think I'll go for it.

Not a fan of La Fin Du Monde? Not often that I hear that. Seems like I always use that beer as the "you'll probably like this" for those who are afraid to venture away from the standard macrobeer, even though it's not close to what they're drinking. 9 out of 10 times it gets a favorable response, and the tenth response can range anywhere from "that was different" to "i'm not used to drinking something like that, but it's not bad".
I popped a Unibroue 2005 this weekend and it wasn't what I expected. Then again, I guess for a beer that's been sitting for almost a decade, I shouldn't expect much fizz to it. The flavor resembled that of the Maudite but a little smoother. I still have an 04 that's in my stash. Based on how the 05 was, I imagine I better drink it sooner than later.

Was never crazy about it and had it more then a few times. Blanche de Chambly is definitely my favorite from Unibroue and I always like Trois Pistoles from time to time

I agree, I have tried all of those beers except for the great lakes one. I'll have to look out for it this spring. Thanks for the reccommendation.

Cool. I like Nugget Nectar so I'll def give it a try. I still think DogFish Head 90 min is my favorite IPA. It's just so well balanced. Some of these Imperial IPA's are just so hoppy that there is no balance and the finish is just all bitterness. I love me some hop, but I want balanced flavor. 90 min delivers on that.
I'm still learning about beers but some IPA's have like a thick or sticky mouthfeel to me. Examples being stone ruination, dfh 90 min, and victory hopdevil. Where others like founders centenial, fat head's head hunter, victory headwaters don't have the same mouthfeel to me. Is this because of the type of hops these beers have, or the ibu's or something else? I seem to prefer the sticky heavy IPA's.
