Gogol sucks. Just another enforcer.

saw them all working out after the sharks camp before my game... Sgarbossa looked good, he was working with Ricci and anderson was having shots taken at him and doing some passing drills in the trapezoid

Definately was not at the prospects tournament for his hockey skills, but he showed up in the physical department. He is entertaining to watch and will fight anyone.

Well, the only legitimate meat wagon enforcer we have right now is McLaren.

In case you forgot. We don't have Shelly or Staubitz anymore.

I only thing I remember about Gogol from the rookie tournament is him fighting.

McLaren likely moving up, they probably just want a guy to fill that roll.

Happy to see the other two sign however.

True enforcers are on the way out.

I'd rather have too many than too little

When the Sharks sneeze, goalie's end up on their kleenex.

I'll have more on these three in a bit from the quick texts I've exchanged with area scouts ..

Gogol = Sounds like another Brad Staubitz

Anderson = Talented goaltender, very hot and cold though.

Sgarbossa = Skilled and chippy buzzsaw who makes things happen.

Gogol seems undersized for a defenseman, let alone an enforcer. Wonder what kind of plans they have for him. Watched him and Sgarbossa do a shooting drill with Hutton in net. Gogol has no moves, Sgarbossa on the other hand has ridiculous fast hands. Marchment and Ricci took their turns as well, Marchment scored the most of the four, haha.

Oh really? Does that explain why Boogaard, Orr, Godard, Shelley, Staubitz, MacIntyre, Koci, Ivanans, King, Janssen, Gillies, Peters, Leblond, Carkner, Scott, Belak, Bissonnette, Barch, McGrattan (tryout) are all still in the NHL?

Shelley - hired to help with locker room issues (between captain Richards and big name/guy Pronger) among other things.

Cam MacIntyre, of the Sharks, is a big body with sweet hands, not a goon.

Steve MacIntyre, maybe? Not really a staple at the NHL level yet though.

Steve MacIntyre. He is going to run wild this year. There was an article put out saying how Renney was excited to play him this year and how everybody was excited to see what he does protecting Hall & Co.

Gogol was terrible, and wasn't a good fighter either. Though I guess he gets a couple points for starting / being in as many as he had.

True enforcers are not done. They're just moving east, where there are unprotected superstars running free. West is stacked with guys that can throw and put a few in the net too.
