I also hope he grows that statuesque beard back sooner than later. He looked like a viking, standing poised on the banks of a foreign land that he was about to pillage and plunder with disgusting offensive zone puck control.
I think Leino is going to score 20 goals and chip in another 30 assists, but he's a guy who thrives with ice time. If he struggles early I think it's going to be tough for him to get going, so we'll have to see how he recovers from the hip surgery.
I'm a little worried actually. The Leino that showed up in the playoffs was terrific, not just in the offensive zone but also did a good job defensively. The Leino I have seen previously has not been of that caliber. It would be awesome if the Hartnell-Brière-Leino line would continue to work though.
