Always need some videos to motivate even more.

Leaf - Hab video is there, cause it's pretty sweet.

Maguire is a f-cking tool. He's a hanger on, a retard. A pushy little fan with headphones on. There are many posters on this site who know more about hockey then he does.

Do any of you seriously think any NHL team, with a budget of at leat 60 Million dollars, is going to let Maguire run hockey operations?

He walks around the rink blabbing away to players, spouting his mouth off.

He has no discretion, no discipline, zero business experience, zero hockey experience. It's like Bozo the clown asking to run IBM. He's an idiot for even thinking he can.

Do you realize how the management in the NHL must laugh at this retard?

He's a total tool.

He played professional hockey, scouted for an NHL team, was assistant coach for an NHL team and then actually coached an NHL team.

Sure he sucked, but to say he knows nothing of hockey and especially that he has zero business experience is a huge stretch. Its possible to be a hardcore hockey knowledge specialist but have terrible judgement. This is likely the case with Pierre.

1. Marginal player
2. My brother would like to be a scout, is that OK? Scouts are mostly washed up jokes.
3.Can I be an assistant coach? Wow. Fill out the roster sheet.
4. Got me there. Who actually let this guy coach?

He's a f-ucking tool. Oh. And most importantly: He'd last 5 minutes at my office with his blab mouth, lack of discretion, and general mental laziness. He has no business experience. Period.

Seriously, you're embarassing yourself. It's fine to not like McGuire but the guy could school you and anyone who posts here (except maybe Bob McKenzie) on everything hockey.

His on-screen persona is a TV character, an exaggerated version of himself. Stop foaming at the mouth over it.

Also, Boston also has a lot of NHL players in the line-up... Bergeron, Horton, Recchi, Wheeler, Seguin, Seidenberg, Boychuk, Rask... plus established grinders like Campbell, Paille... looks pretty even to me.
Well, first thought that came to mind is obviously Mike Ribeiro.

1. But pro player nonetheless. Did you play professional hockey? How many HFboards did? (some I guess, but like 1 or 2% at the very most)

2. Millions of canadians would like to be scouts. Sadly they probably don't pick just about anyone.

3. You are getting ridiculous... Assistant coaches also help in the training of million dollar earning athletes. To get there you need to make a name out of yourself. He had 4 seasons as assistant coach with the Whalers and Sens which is more hockey coaching experience than probably anyone here.

4. The Whalers. Coaching is not just about hockey knowledge tho, the guys leadership was probably abysmal.

Oh and do you think the guy would work the same way as a general manager (or in your office) than he would on TV? He plays a role and tries to make himself interesting that way. Anyone on TV who would try to be realistic, composed and act like a GM would be astonishingly boring. I don't really like McGuire either but your calling out of him is based on terrible arguments.

As for business experience he was actually assistant GM for some time. I assume you refer to hockey business of course (otherwise would be completely useless for him)

Why? If you Want to be a GM, then work quietly and diligently toward that goal. Work your way up, like we all must. Don't put on headphones and yell at Carey Price on the bench during a game.

He's so Donald Trump. I just have to laugh at him.

I was thinking the same thing. Why on Earth would he choose that number?? Besides that, I never liked that number. It's incredibly NOT a hockey number.

Come on Louis, pick something a little lower down the scale! In any case, I hope he does well and has a nice experience along with all our rookies.

Well I think they possibly gave it to him, like they do other rookies?

If not, then it's maybe because he chose his number inversed when he tore up Midget AAA with LSL. Boyd is #17 IIRC.

Anyway, I like #71 I think it's a cool number.

Leblanc wore #71 in the USHL and in MAAA as well not 100% sure.

It's a great number. Who cares about Ribeiro.
