Desjardins has had his name pronounced 3 different ways.

Stamkos' release there at the 45 second mark of the PP was absolutely incredible. Threadworthy

Solid start for Desjardins, a few great defensive plays too. Not a clue who by however as the Hawks announcers just won't tell me!

Unlucky Stamkos already!

That's the kind of hussle you can expect from Gagne.

I'm super excited to watch the Lightning this season, by the way. I plan on watching and cheering for them every game.

Well after we settled down a bit after the first 3-4 minutes, I think we really controlled the play and if not for some crazy lucky bounces/saves it could easily be 3-0 right now.

Its hard to notice Bouchers system right now though I think. It will obviously take a bit to get it working properly but at least it looks like everyone is skating tonight.

Watching first part of the first period, I kept thinking, MAN! Bugsy got wheels in the offseason! Then I realized it's Gagne.

Desjardins was excellent too.

Good first period for Desjardins , he did some good saves at the start of the period . I think that with him and Ellis as a number goalie , TB is set in goal this year . TB's PP looked good as specially Stamkos with his two chances in the middle of the period . Speaking of the PP i think TB will finish in the top 5 for sure , with this style of moving the puck and crashing the net , agressive , looking for the lose puck .

Well, #8 might not change in terms of number of expletives used towards that player so who cares.
