on a positive note, that game didn't count and the Habs played very well in the 2nd and 3rd period! Sanford looked good, too.

lets discuss.

Even though we lost I think we were the better team.

With more composure from our youngster in the 1rst (including Carey, but not only him), it would have been an easy win.

Now, I don't expect composure from youngsters playing there 1rst NHL game at home in a crazed Bell Center.

Benoit: "Ho ho ho! André K! Mon préféré!"

Great show of professionalism and impartiality.

I'd say much better team.

Once they scored the 1st goal they went on to dominate the play.

I love the team speed, they give the opponent a real hard time on the forecheck.

Tinordi looked good. Needs to improve his first pass and get some more weight on.

Tough start for Carey only.

All in all, I'm very happy with what I saw.

Oh noes, seems like we won't win the Stanley cup with our ECHL roster.

Unlikely, although you guys can have beakermania any day.

And truthfully, my home is still likely over there.

Tinordi, Palushaj and Leblanc were impressive.

Maxwell looked good tonight, at least compared to what we've seen from him in the past at this level.

It wasn't a tough start. We just had to live what Caps and Pens lived last year. We outshotted Boston, but there was a european goalie who stole the game, while one wasn't at his best. At least, we could notice some young and veteran players (Palushaj, Maxwell at a moment, Lappytroll, Plekathug, etc.), and how fast our team could be. The goal of a pre-season game isn't to win.

Disappointments - Carey Price, Hal Gill and the Montreal boo-birds in that order

Pleasant Surprises - Palushaj, Dumont, Maxwell, Leblanc

Met my high expectations - Cammalleri, Plekanec

About as expected - everyone else

we completely dominated them. The price thing is a bit disconcerting, but i'm of the opinion that they shouldn't have given him his first start in front of a bell centre crowd. Everyone i was looking forward to seeing impressed me.

Loved the speed game. Most of the team played well. Let down by goaltending and nerves.
