yeah listening to the announcers you'd be thinking that Lehtonen is the second coming of Dominik Hasek except with four arms like that Mortal Kombat guy.

**Aww they scored

one thing I've noticed from watching pre-season games is that the veterans never seem to show up. It's not a good thing that Dallas is being outplayed, but I'll take a dominant performance by Lehtonen out of this game and be happy

No joke...from the shots it sound like he's stopping sounds like it. Then again he sounds like your D isn't really letting us get second opportunities.

unimpressive. The highest praise either Joe or Crow have had for him is that he has played OK. Before training camp I was optimistic he would make the team, I'm not quite as optimistic anymore.

most of them sound like routine shots from distance really... the avs player comes accross the line and shoots and OHHHHH JUST GOT IT WITH THE GLOVE

I just noticed something. The Stars are distrubiting their ice time much more evenly than the Avalanche are. Most of the depth players with the exception of Gazdic and Roman have played as much or more ice time than Richards, Neal, etc..

Richards has 14 minutes of ice time, when we all know in a real game he would have 20-22 minutes at this point.

Explains some things.

**this doesn't extend to the defenceman though.. Robi and Grossman are logging the big minutes.

haven't heard his name in awhile, but during the first he was just doing basic play and then Yip was in the play and he would "and now YIP!! is going towards the left circles around, YIP!!! passes over...". it was like dear god man, quit it! lol

a W and in the end it sounds like some of the games at the end of last season. plenty of shots, kari does well, a close game.

It's not healthy for anyone to be that excited about preseason anything, ever.

Congrats on the win Gents. Got to say that Lehtonen clearly stole the game for you based on the radio and shot count.

good win for Dallas.

PK 12/12 so far? good ****.

The depth players got a chance to play against some very good avs forwards tonight and they showed up well enough to get it done. Sounded like the net clearance was alot better too.

I don't think Cheechoo has a chance. It doesn't look good when both your linemates get 2 points and you do nothing.
