So far Faulk has had a couple of assists. Had one tonight on Matsumoto's GWG. From what I've heard they are going to use him a lot on the PP.

Why do people film sideways? That crap is annoying. Otherwise good stuff.

Scoreless after 1 in Game 2. I really wanted to go to Wilkes Barre for the game tonight, but was just too busy.

Brett Sutter continues to be a beast in the playoffs. OT Game winner, 2-1 Checkers in the game and in the series.

I can't believe what Nick Dodge is doing this playoff year. 4 goals and 6 points in 9 games after only scoring 5 goals and 13 points in 57 games in the regular season. I wonder if it's possible that Dodge is somewhat maligned for having played a couple of hundred AHL games and never having gotten the call. I can imagine that would be personally and professionally frustrating. I think he might know that without an impressive playoff performance he may not get another contract and he's dialing it up. Sutter's performance is nearly as confusing.

Good night all around.

Checkers shutout baby Pens 1-0 and took 3-1 series lead.

Terry with a goal.

Some intense moments late in the 3rd. Murphy came up huge. PP finally got a goal and it happened to be the GWG.

I think this just goes to show we've got an awful lot of talent down there on the farm these days. Terry, Murphy, Osala, etc (outside of the Boychuk, Bowman and Dalpe trio) are really going to force the Canes to consider them as viable options in the next couple of seasons or so.

The Baby Pens obliterated the AHL in the regular season, so I'm sort of surprised to see the Checkers take a commanding 3-1 lead in the series.

From what i've read, it sounds to me that Murphy was a real clutch in the playoffs so far.

Checkers didn't do so well when playoff started with Pogge in the net. I'm glad Murphy recovered from his injury in just the right time.

Isn't their goaltending supposed to be unreal? I've heard Thiessen's had a HUGE year...

Not to mention they have Boulerice
