Not an interesting enough game to attend. Going to some haunted show thing at Kings Island tomorrow that should be neat, I think.

Feeling good about this one, Jackets will win big, 6-1 I'm predicting. 2 goals for Juice, 2 for RJ, 1 for Stralman and 1 for Moreau.

Jackets win 4-3

Sestito nets 2 goals and an assist, Methot and Commodore each score 1.

Rupp gets the hat trick for Pittsburgh.

.....doesn't anyone here have a sense of humor anymore?

It would appear that you do.

Although the Sestito prediction may not be that much of a joke.

The walk to the game the other night let me know the back isnt nearly good enough to make the walk yet and I paid for it, so will have to sit this one out. For those who use to park on Goodale, the meters are now 3hour limits and run till 8 now, and its .25 for 20 minutes. You can still park on Goodale past Neil for free (aparments there), but after walking 10 steps and my back screaming bloody murder, I couldnt make the walk.

Can Garon earn the starting job in the preseason or is it automatically Mason's?

If Mason pulls a hamstring Garon gets the starting job... other than an injury I don't see how Garon can replace Mason based on pre season play (barring a total collapse in the ability of Mason to play NHL level hockey).

I'll be there

Fan from Cinci here, finally took the plunge and got a package this year. Don't care who they put on the ice, it's Blue Jackets hockey so I'm pretty stoked--

Would love to see a "W", of course, but...I can't believe I'm saying this--I'd trade it to see Matt Cooke knocked senseless as some point. A Godard / Sesito dance would be an extra bonus.

Look forward to hanging with ya'll (we say that stuff down here in the south).

f.

You are driving from Cinci to Columbus to watch a preseason game? I am impressed.

I am under the impression that the game that the NHL network is showing is the Saturday night one from Pittsburgh. It will be played on Sunday at 1 am, 8 am and again at 2 pm.

Worst news of the month. Seriously, that was my spot.
Dammit.

...and, to further my preseason game/concert analogy from Wednesday's thread, we're getting a bad setlist tonight. Virtually none of the guys I want to see will be playing tonight, whereas all of them will be tomorrow: Johanson, Brassard, Filatov, Jake, Nash, Oliver, Calvert, Savard, Moore.

Tonight, all I'm really excited to see is Kubalik and Kolarik. And I guess Wilson. And I'm curious to see Commie's fitness level.

Once more, with emphasis: WE SHOULD NOT BE PAYING FULL PRICE FOR THIS CRAP. Grrr. I think I'm about to start a petition.

The CW is broadcasting the Sat game in Pittsburgh. It would be more awesome if the Jackets would stream THAT game on Jackets TV!

I so agree. I'll never understand why pre-season games are full price. Hence I'll never go to one, unless someone gives me the tickets...
