I'm going hopefully I got work until 11ish but it's right over in that area.. crappy time to have it on a saturday why not a 1pm start?
If its anything like the prospect orange and blue game it was a 2 25 minute period scrimmage then some skills competition like trick shots, fastest skater, hardest shots and then they did some crazy team shootout competition but it could be different this time.
I'm just hoping that they handle the crowds waaaaayyyy better then they did for the prospect game cause the line to buy tickets wrapped around the colesium and then you had to go back outside and wait on a line to go in which was pretty damn long also and it took you downstairs and wrapped around down there and finally game out at ice level and they only had 1 food/beer stand open it was ridiculous. I lucked out cause we kind of just blended with the crowd and pretty much got to skip both lines other then that its entertaining.
It will be streamed on Islanders TV for those of us who aren't going.
Hopefully they use a normal sized graphic to show the score of the game this time. Remember what they did over the summer with the prospects camp? yesh. damn thing took up like a 3rd of the screen.
How come it seems like the Isles are the only team not playing any preseason games? Are they trying to give them more time to practice because they suck?

Ahhh, good point. Didn't think of that. Actually that makes it worse. They gave up the chance to play preseason games to train in China? Weird decision.
Okposo, Weight & Nielsen are all day to day nursing injuries. I guess they're going to double shift someone for the 4th line White team. Roloson is playing the whole game. Koskinen & DP are each playing half the game.

oh, now I see. they let them all in, but they're seating them all on 1 side of the ice. of course on the side that isn't visible to the cameras so it looks like the place is empty. ahhhh islanders

The Islanders have some of the brightest marketing people in the game.
That's kind of what happened at the Prospect game too, but so many people came they opened both sides...and then tried to limit where people sat in the 100/200.
Comeau with 2 goals. i know it means nothing, but he's looked damn good so far. He had another excellent chance earlier. Boy it would be awesome if he can have a breakout year.
