What Would It Take For Chicago To Acquire Brunette At The Deadline?

He could be useful for us and it was suggested by another poster on our board.

Thoughts?

2nd and a non-playmaking forward prospect. We won't part with Bruno easily.

I'd take this or a first, but the above point remains.

How about Kane, Toews, and a 1st?

I'd do Stalberg and a 2nd. It's not like the Blackhawks are hurting for seconds.

No deal - only one of those players spent time playing in the State of Hockey!

Well Kane obviously is the throw-in. Toews has ties to Minnesota hockey, plus we can always use the first rounder to select another Minnesotan! What a joyous occasion that would be!

Out of curiosity, Cullksinikers, where do you expect the Blackhawks to finish in the standings, come trade deadline/playoffs?

If we're out of playoff contention by the trade deadline... whatever we can get. A second rounder sounds about right.
