Morin-Toews-Kane line preview? Wow, maybe going to work on some chemistry. No Makarov for this one. Man, I really wanted to watch him play.

Did Makarov piss in Q's cornflakes or something?

It also looks like they're working Scott as a defensemen. Maybe we'll have an extra forward other than Scott (Skille or Dowell?) and our #5-7 defensemen will be Boynton, Hendry, and Scott this year.

That's what I'm wondering. Like I said above, I really wanted to see him play tonight.

Hey, I just noticed the Stalberg-Sharp-Hossa line that we all speculated on in the offseason above. Our top 6 could be in this game.

I think Teemu stated in previous game day threads, that he posts arbitrary "best of" line combinations just for speculation sake. Those are not the actual lines. Since someone like Rensfeldt hasn't played yet for example, it would make sense to see him out there tonight. What the actual lines will be still comes down to Q.

I assume Q played Morin yesterdays which would have been 2 straight games with him in the lineup, because he wanted to see how he stacked up against some of Detroit's top regular players. I hope we see Makarov tonight though. They probably want to put on a good show in front of the home crowd, so I wouldn't pull any stops.

Yeah, we'll see how it goes. I wanted to see Morin with Kane and Toews. That would've been really fun to watch tonight. Hey, maybe the guy was wrong.

It seems odd that it took so long for Lalonde to get into a game.

He's in Os-God mode tonight.

Also I'm annoyed that Makarov is on the 4th line and Stalberg is on the 2nd(If I see correctly). Makarov deserves that ice time

Our powerplay looked pretty damn good right there, forced Osgood to make some pretty big stops.
