I thought Spacek was a veteran not a prospect @ his first training camp...

I gave up in the second period because of my stream was lagging way too much.

Good thing, apparently.

Habs have a terrible pre-season but get it together when the season starts on the road, book it.

Gorges-Subban
Gill-Carle
Spacek-O'Byrne.

Thats what our depth chart looks like with Markov and Hamrlik out to start the year. The first two pairings will have to play 23+ minutes if we want to have a chance.

We seem to be able to put up 2-4 goals on average with half a team. Who knows maybe that means we can do 4-8 with an average of 6 with our full team

All kidding aside people need to chill out it isn't like he's playing with NHL caliber defenseman yet even. I mean Spacek is playing so

Nah, things won't change. This is our permanent lineup. DEAL WITH IT.

Eh, good game guys. It wasn't really a 6-2 game, despite the score. A couple of your young guys made bad mistakes and our guys were fortunate enough to capitalize on them.

Bonne Chance a les Glorieux.

The D let the team down.

Price let in more than we would like to see, but there were a lot of bright spots in his play too.

Pleks looks ready to have another banner year if he keeps that explosiveness and creative play going too.

Conboy impresses me, the kid can play hockey...can he fight with the big boys though?

Can't wait to see some cuts made as the team needs to get together as a team so they can play a couple together before the games count.

Hope nothing serious with Gill.

He was pretty good. Let 1 in he should have done better on. He had very little support infront of him.

Spacek and Tinordi give-aways in our D zone lead to goals.

I feel bad for Price. While I do agree he has to make a big save once and awhile, the defence (Spacek in particular) was a joke.

Seriously what was Spacek smoking before the game?

I'm gonna go cut both my wrists right now. I mean, jeeze, we've lost the most important game thus far this season.

No point in watching the team when Markov, Subban and Hammer will be in the lineup, they won't make a difference.

if the pre season was about evaluating established veterans from whom you know what to expect in the regular season, then maybe this thread title wouldn't seem so idiotic.

What's truly pathetic, is that a 21 year old PK Subban really is our #1 defenseman with Markov/Hamrlik out.

Talk about throwing him to the wolves....
