So... Tuck is staying at DT and Kiwanuka at LB, I assume?

I never agree with anything management does anyways

rotation i assume. JPP is raw. On passing downs i imagine tuck would be at DT though.

If we deal Osi we better get something decent back.

I feel now the same way I did when we picked Kiwanuka... we have 3 good DEs and a good backup, why a 1st round pick?

It wouldn't surprise me. They already have a lot of former Giants on D who liked playing for Spags... Robbins, Butler, Dockery.

I thought the Giants would be OK without Spags, boy, was I wrong. Sheridan was an absolute trainwreck.

Jets will get Kyle Wilson now that Jackson is gone.

Wow- a gift to the Jets with Tebow picked.

Kyle Wilson, very good pick. If we get even average contributions from Pool et al, our secondary will be a nightmare for opposing QBs.

Big win for the Jets. Have to think the Giants were set on McClain.

Why? He does not fit a 4-3. Giants FANS were set on him. The guy is too slow for the 4-3. He's a great 3-4 linebacker.

I'm NOT pleased with taking JPP, as I wanted Spiller, Williams or Bulaga.

Kyle Wilson's great. Got to think that Rex will run with 3 cornerbacks now on a given play while sending 8 players in to blitz. The luxury of having 3 shut down corners that can each play very well man-man.

Next round i think we'll see the Jets draft Reshad Jones, if not then trade up for Kindle, if not then do something unexpected... hopefully not taking Mays. Everson Griffen is still available i don't know how i feel about him though.

If Jets pass up on Jones then i think Sharper to the Jets becomes a given.

Reason i don't think Jets will draft Kindle: Adalius Thomas will be cut within a week. Same position as Kindle, no requirement on FA rules as cuts don't apply to those rules.

Therefore look for jets to draft a defense tackle (which i don't think they need) or a safety, which i think they will get. Look for Mays to go before Jones and look for the Jets to draft Jones, whom i think will be one of the biggest steals in the draft.

I'm not convinced Bulaga is first-round talent.

Spiller was long gone.

Williams is the antithesis of what went right for them- the 4 DE line.

If the Giants can get Sean Lee or Brandon Spikes in the second round, I'll be thrilled.

Last night still sits raw for me. I absolutely hated that pick, they reached for a project de who even if everything pans out will still be stuck behind two pro bowlers. When the rest of the defense is god awful and there is an aging offensive line with talent on the board, or gresham, spoon or hell almost anything they go and select a position which is probably the deepest on the team...

And wtf was that with the Raiders? They were never one of the teams suspected of being interested in Mcclain. I wanted to throw stuff at my tv when they made that pick.

thankfully, in the NFL draft all the picks usually factor into the lineup in one way or another. Long way to go still.

Not happy with the pick at all. I wanted Dan Williams out of Tennessee. They have talent on the end, they need a stud in the middle.

I am selling some giants tix. a 3-game package, a 2-game package and 2 individual games. Money is due ASAP as I have already paid for the tickets and want to get the money back. Not holding games for anyone. Everything will be for face value. Section 348. I have the 2 packages scheduled to go up on EBay tonight, but if someone contacts me and wants them, I will cancel the auction. Can meet anywhere in the NY area to meet and if desired can provide a receipt detailing everything that is important. Please do not pm me asking to break up a package or mix and match or whatever.

Package 1: 3 games. 2 tix each game. $510 ($525 through paypal). 11/14 vs Dallas, 10/17 vs Detroit, pre-season vs New England (labor day weekend, date not yet set).

Package 2: 10/3 vs Bears (Sunday night game) and pre-season vs Pittsburgh (weekend of 8/19-8/23,actual date not set). $340 ($350 through paypal).

Tennessee (9/26) and Jacksonville (11/28) for sale individually. $170 per pair per game ($175 through paypal).

I haven't heard about parking passes, but a friend who also has tickets called and they said they will not be needed this season. Guess, they are planning on having the old stadium down and the ground paved in time.

which is what's great about the NFL draft. That's the one thing about the NFL, players have to wait three years after they finish high school in order to be draft eligible. You get a lot more guys who can come in and play right away instead of waiting 3 or so years like in hockey (of course there are exceptions).
