Very much so. He shrugs people off with his size and strength.

Seems like a line that would work well. Really hard working line as well.
i couldn't agree more. he did REALLY well with Prust and Shelley last year. but now he has Frolov, who can not only get him the puck, but AA can feed it to him, as well.

Agreed, but I'd rather go through the growing pains with McD than Valentenko at this point.

It looks like he added some size but he is much stronger on the puck you're right. Grachev looks like he has the Jagr goatee/stache thing goin on...

Wings got robbed twice. The refs are already in mid-season form. But then again, didn't someone say these aren't NHL refs because there is a labour issue? So maybe there's still some hope...

I hope Torts holds to that. Him and Avery need an understanding and then leave it alone.

While I dont think the 3rd pairing debate is anywhere near over, I do think its safe to say Michael Sauer is playing himself back to Hartford.

Valentenko is needed on the blueline, at least he is tough, but takes a penalty

Wow, Valentenko.

Haven't seen a Rangers defenseman protect the crease like that in a looong time.

Semenov needs to tone it down a bit. He took the same kinda penalties last year.

So Holmstrom can shove anyone and everyone in the crease but they can't shove him back? Or was that penalty for something else? I think they said high stick but I didn't really see one.

And that is why Girardi is earning the salary he got from Sather this summer.
