In the Town Hall, Dudley said that we would lose a couple of guys to waivers. As far as defensemen, Kulda and Zubarev are available to go down without having to pass thru waivers.
Dudley also said that the choice for #7 wouldn't necessarily be fair.
I see Freddie Meyers (Meyer? Too lazy to go look) as staying if Boris doesn't play worth a crap in his next game. Number 7 will be a capable backup, nothing more. I think they WANT Boris, but if they waste a spot on his "coulda, woulda, shoulda" I will lose some faith in Duds and Rammer.
Vivlamore is reporting on Twitter that Mason will play the entire game tonight.
This will definitely feel more like a regular season game as opposed to a preseason tilt looking at the lineups for tonight.
Once again, no local TV or radio or video feed. What's the point of having a radio partner if they're not going to air the preseason games? I can understand not showing them on TV, but not airing them on the radio makes no sense. I know that 680 The Fan has the Florida-Kentucky football game they're committed to air, but why not put the game on one of the other The Fan stations like they've done in the past?
Only line that I see as productive tonight. (is that the way ASF would do it? )
Carolina will ignore Machacek and Holzapfel, as will I, lol.
No because pre-season lines are pointless. Half these dudes that play are ahl for life players. Why the hell is Stewart playing? He's not his brother. And why is Holzapfel playing the dude never has a shot at making the team.
About that line though...I thought Peverley was moved to wing? That might be our 3rd line going into the season.
One question I forgot to ask the other night, how does Little look on faceoffs?
