Mentioned this at the end of the last thread, but was this the first time the Twins got swept this season?

It's been a while since we've been swept. I'm not too happy with the results, but I guess I was too busy worrying about the Vikes today.

We should have a bounce-back series against the Royals.

Well im still hoping that we can win the pennant, home field advantage in the first two rounds would be nice.

Why are all our starters auditioning for an early Winter vacation?

18 total runs in less than 4 innings. Pathetic.

Maybe sucking before the playoffs means we will win in the playoffs instead of the reverse.

I like it! The ol' bait-n-switch! It's just like last year, only the exact opposite!

Well, the biggest series will be the Toronto series before we start the playoffs as our 4 playoff starters will be pitching that game.

Yep 2nd time in 3 days I believe :/

Just one of the side effects of not having Mauer, Thome, or Hardy for the series. Signs point to them being ready for the Toronto series so I hope that is the case.

That's just weird because Hudson's D is one of his strengths.

If you want real baseball, the Tenth Inning (Ken Burns documentary) is on PBS.

Kansas City needs to quit scoring a run or two every time I look up the score. Thanks for nothing SI Jinx!

Actually this is our fifth abysmal start in a row. That means each and every member of our rotation has now gone out there and taken a big, wet deuce on the mound. It's not just Blackburn.

Well Texas lost tonight so the Twins will be starting the playoffs at Target Field. That has to count for something.
