So that's what a Twin victory feels like.

Holy... I thought this was just a figure of speech and then I went to check the box score...

Not unexpected, but...

Wait, who said he'd DH next year? I imagine that if he can come back to DH in the postseason he can certainly be ready to play first after an off-season's conditioning.

Holy hell, I completely had a mind blank, I thought this was Morneau's second concussion based injury.

Holy I need a drink.

I think it is because he got hit in the head by a pitch a few years back.

It's clear the Wild brought the suck to all Minnesota sports.

So do I and it's one of my big problems with Gardy stressing that home field doesn't matter. It does to keep guys focused. I don't think they can just "turn it on" come playoff time. It could be a real short post-season again.

Especially given that even though we've gone 1-7 or something terrible like that, we're still only one game back of being tied for the best record.

If we hadn't just dropped a collective deuce out there since winning the division, we could've had home field locked up by now...

Only downside about clinching so quickly, you have so many more games to play and to adjust who you could potentially play. We know it'll either be New York or Tampa, just a matter of which one really wants to play us I guess. I'd rather play New York to be honest. Let Tampa and Texas kill one another

Agreed only if/when the Twins have home field advantage.

I'm just hoping we can get everyone healthy and field our A- team.

Do we know what our series format will be?

I assume it depends on if we are playing Tampa or Yankees to decide if we get the crappy afternoon slot.

Here's the schedule. There's no times set yet, but there's probably a correlation between the Rays and the crappy afternoon slot.

Delmon with another HR, he could play a huge role in the playoffs if the rest of the team can turn it around.

Well it sounded like Pavano at least had things under control. That's a start.

In other news, the Timberwolves lose even in other sports. I'm actually surprised it took this long for the geniuses at Target Center to put up a billboard on that side of the building, but then again it is the Wolves.

How long since it's been that Morneau has played an entire season?

He's only been hurt the past two seasons.

Holly crap! The Twins actually came back and won! Now we just need the Rays and Yankees to lose again.

Exactly. He played all 163 games in 2008.

And then have the Yankees lose one more time (they're playing a Day-Night doubleheader).
