Actually this is our fifth abysmal start in a row. That means each and every member of our rotation has now gone out there and taken a big, wet deuce on the mound. It's not just Blackburn.
Holy... I thought this was just a figure of speech and then I went to check the box score...
Morneau ruled out possibility of return for ALDS. But hopes that he might be ready for ALCS if #Twins make it there. about 1 hour ago via Twitter for Android Retweeted by 18 people
Morneau to DH next season? That terrible news, concussions' are terrible.
Wait, who said he'd DH next year? I imagine that if he can come back to DH in the postseason he can certainly be ready to play first after an off-season's conditioning.

Holy hell, I completely had a mind blank, I thought this was Morneau's second concussion based injury.
I think they all gave up after they won the division
So do I and it's one of my big problems with Gardy stressing that home field doesn't matter. It does to keep guys focused. I don't think they can just "turn it on" come playoff time. It could be a real short post-season again.

Especially given that even though we've gone 1-7 or something terrible like that, we're still only one game back of being tied for the best record.
If we hadn't just dropped a collective deuce out there since winning the division, we could've had home field locked up by now...

Only downside about clinching so quickly, you have so many more games to play and to adjust who you could potentially play. We know it'll either be New York or Tampa, just a matter of which one really wants to play us I guess. I'd rather play New York to be honest. Let Tampa and Texas kill one another

Agreed only if/when the Twins have home field advantage.
Well it sounded like Pavano at least had things under control. That's a start.
In other news, the Timberwolves lose even in other sports. I'm actually surprised it took this long for the geniuses at Target Center to put up a billboard on that side of the building, but then again it is the Wolves.
