I really like the idea of Wolski and Doan on Turris' wings. Hanzal, Whitney and Vrbata look good together, I was impressed Saturday night. Korpokoski does what he does well so I think he is going to be tough to move out of the line up. But if Tik is ready, then Korpikoski is out.
This is what I think the lines will be as well. The only thing I would change is OEL and Aucoin would switch sides.

I'd hate to see Prucha get traded/waived, but I don't see where he fits in the line up.

Sorry to keep banging the drum, but Wellwood gives the team a much better chance to win than Bods. I still think he needs more time in the AHL.

Whitney-Hanzal-Vrbata
Doan-Turris-Wolski
Stempniak-Belanger-Upshall
Pyatt-Fiddler-Tikhonov

Biznasty and Boedker can replace Tiki and Pyatt every few games. Maybe Wellwood gets in over Boedker IDK.

Yandle-Morris
Jovo-Lepisto
Ekman-Larrson-Aucoin

So... is Turris a lock for a top 6 spot in the NHL this year?

Nope. Wolski, Belanger, Turris, and Wellwood are all trying to be a top 6 center.

Not a good sign for your team if Belanger is in the top 6

There really is not a "top six" or "bottom six" type of mentality.

Tipp starts the game out rolling the lines evenly, and then what happens in the game dictates what players get increased ice time, and so forth.

Also how you play as well determines where you start in the next, if you start in the next game.

He's our 3rd line center.

This is the only thing that sort of makes sense with who we kept and the comments Tippet has made imo:

Upshall Turris Doan
Whitney Hanzel Virbatta
Wolski Belanger Prucha
Stepniak Fiddler Pyatt

We have one #2, a #3 and two #4 centers at best so call each line whatever you want. Tippet said he likes the Fiddler and Hanzel line so I'm guessing those are going to start the season. I like what Turris and Upshall showed last game. I guess you could swap Doan and Prucha but having Belanger as our #1 center is so ugly I couldn't type it.

Belanger makes a fine #2 center as he is a good two way player. That would make two twos, a three and a four.

The lines for opening night in Prague as follows:

Whitney-Hanzal-Vrbata
Wolski-Turris-Doan
Upshall-Belanger-Prucha
Pyatt-Fiddler-Stempniak

Consider: The Hanzal line has been skating together since pre-season began and looks fine. Tippet said in this morning's AZ Republic article the Fiddler line is "stable". Uppy and Prucha skated together on a line vs. Edmonton, resulting in Upshall scoring the tying goal in regulation. The Turris line just makes good sense.

You can debate ad infinitum about which line is 1st, 2nd, etc. The hot line will see more ice time. Overall, we'll roll 4 strong lines and this will make the Coyotes difficult to play against.

It's like manna from heaven to be able to just roll 4 lines. I don't think that Tip is quite that freewheeling, though. He will match Hanzal against the top lines I would think.

Whitney-Hanzal-Vrbata
Wolski-Turris-Doan
Upshall-Belanger-Stempniak
Pyatt-Fiddler-Prucha

these lines make sense to me.

sometime later will be Boedker-Fiddler-Tik

Sounded to me in the audio clip like Tipp was very content with the Pyatt-Fiddler-Stemp line.

So I think it's pretty much safe to say this is what we'll start the season with. Tipp said we're bringing 8 defensemen, and with a 3rd goalie plus the extra forward or two. I'm not sure if being in Europe has any affect on the roster limits teams can carry. Being so far away from their farm club and all.

Wolski / Belanger /Upshall
Vrbata / Hanzal / Prucha
Whitney /Turris / Doan
Pyatt / Fiddler / Stemp

I think Turris needs to have an offensive playmaker / Hanzal /Vrbata /Prucha had good chemistry last year...Whitney and Vrbata had good chemistry a couple times in Camp , but I think he will have good chemistry with whoever he plays with ...

They are allowed to carry an extra goalie.

This, and we're also sending a defenseman home after our last pre-season game.

Probably not sending him home, simply omitting his name from the roster.

DeMo is nursing an *owee* so having an extra body available on short notice is probably a necessity.

I suppose omitting a name from the 23 man roster is basically the same as assigning a player, even if it will probably only be on paper.

What's the PP gonna look like? Any chance OEL gets close to 30 points with PP time?

Once our PP learns that when OEL shoots it's most likely going to create a rebound, you'll start seeing him rack up the assists. Combine that with his breakout game, and I feel like 30 is very realistic.
