Hockey in Indiana?

Hey guys,

I'm hoping someone can help me out here! I'm going to Indiana State University starting in January for grad school and I'm just curious if there are any hockey rinks within a 30-45 minute vicinity of Terre Haute.

I saw online that there are some roller skating rinks in Terre Haute (), but I'd like to be able to play in a league while I'm down there if there's anything that's in relative proximity. Skill level is really irrelevant for me as I'm just looking to get out on the ice if possible.

Anyways, hopefully someone can give me a heads up!

Cheers.

Looks like the David S Palmer arena is the closest rink (about an hour away). I went to school at Eastern Illinois and this is where they played their games at. EIU is right across the border in IL and when I went to school there we got Terre Haute news so I am assuming they are very close.

Yeah it doesn't appear like there is a whole lot of options. Oh well, I'll have to try to maybe see if I can casually play in a couple of leagues to stay fresh!

You picked the wrong school. Bloomington has a rink.

Haha yeah I know, I might have to venture over there a bit to get on the ice a few times. If I was there I'd likely go out for their ACHA team as well. Unfortunately, I don't really feel like paying $30k a year in tuition right now, especially when I'm likely going overseas for Law School after!
