Baltimore's D...wtf?

They are normally a super fantasy option, but this year they are really suckin it up for me. I know they are missing Ed Reed, but man oh man are they hurting me right now.

So far through three weeks they have 35 fantasy points for me in my league.

Looking at WAIVERS there are 13 teams with more fantasy points then them. What gives? It looks to me as if they are holding teams to low point totals, but aren't doing much else. No sacks, no forced fumbles, no INT's, no blocked kicks. Man this is frustrating.

Is this the week I cut them loose? I contemplated it last week.

Among options I would consider grabbing:

Seattle - 80 fantasy points (7 sacks, 4 INT's, 3 Fum recov)
KC - 64 fantasy points (8 sacks, 2 INT's, 2 Fum recov)
Tennessee - 61 fantasy points (10 sacks, 3 INT's, 3 Fum recov)
Miami - 51 fantasy points (6 sacks, 3 INT's, 1 Fum recov)

Meanwhile, Baltimore - 35 fantasy points (5 sacks, 0 INT's, 1 Fum recov)

What should I do? Do I cut 'em loose?

How so? I know they have a tough sched, but atleast they get turnovers which seem to be worth a ton more points than simply limiting teams scoring.

I would've kept them for this week. I'm a huge Steelers fan, but the Ravens always come to play hard for these games. Should be a low-scoring game.

I don't care about the low scoring though, they have been good in that regard...but they aren't a dynamic defense which seems to be worth more.

That's why you don't pay a premium for defense (hope you didn't) or kickers for that matter. Just take a great team that has a weak schedule for the year. Or play the free agency game between teams week to week by seeing who plays the worst team.

Well the main reason is that their secondary sucks, especially without Reed. No playmakers back there.
