They did play together QUITE often, yeah.

Yeah you're right. Gudbranson came in and facewashed Moen and threw a few slaps to the face (with gloves on). Moen got pissed and knocked him a few times before Gudbranson just held on for dear life.

Clearly this game is just the figment of our imagination then.

It didn't look like he picked him but he definitly hit him while lineman ties up Gudbranson. Nothing dramatic about it but I didn't enjoy that fight at all.

Still, a veteran like him knows better, it is only training camp.

there were like 3 guys trying to get at moen, i think he just came out with whoever he could grab, as white took the other guy off him.

My first reaction after seeing the size difference was that he was going to be killed. He didn't do TOO badly considering the almost one foot differential. He actually tried to fight back.

Let's hope that you have plenty of "classes" scheduled for the rest of the hockey season.

He actually was pretty bad in the fight, but at least he showed up and didn't back down. Shows great character and grit. I would have liked it if Dumont could have landed a punch though.

forgive me for paraphrasing.

"I saw that mo(en) was in trouble and i just went in to help and we got out of it ok.it's hockey and sometimes things happen, and sometimes the other team is gonna take it out on us, and it's better for them to be taking it out on me than cammy"

Same here. This game was pretty good, more action than some season games last year. All about offense, lots of turnovers, nice dekes, hard checks and bad blood at the end.

White gave it all tonight and will probably hang with the team for the rest of preseason.

One thing of note is the following:

5 on 5 scoring.

Read that again.

The habs have a putrid PP right now and yet, still manage to outscore the opposition. Seriously, if this persists (let us hope it does), we may finally be through the dark period of not scoring during 5 on 5 play. Now if the PP wakes up, oh la la!
