Well that's what I get for missing the first minute.

Russo just tweeted that Zidlicky isn't returning, that isn't good at all. As much as some hate him here, he's much better than a Falk or Bagnall.
How did they not score there?!?

no he isn't.
still, i'd rather see one of them out there.
edit: wow, for a shift or two there it looked like we were used to the offensive zone.

They just advertised a $66 ticket pack including the home opener against the Blackhawks, a game against the Penguins, and another game of the buyer's choice. We'd be lucky to get one of those games for $66.
...maybe the sellout streak ending isn't a horrible thing.

We could be starting the year with potentially 5 rookie D-men if they bring my man Prosser back with Zids injury. That is scary.

It's sort of sad how beat up the team is between Harding, (technically) Sheppard, Barker, Latendresse and now Zidlicky.

well if Zid is out for a little bit Stoner must be breathing easier. time to redeem himself.

That being said, Falk looks pretty good this game.
They said that Barker should be healthy for the season opener.
Zanon, Barker, Burns, Schultz are the D-men with experience, so there's Falk, Stoner, and Bagnall if the previous 4 are healthy. That doesn't look so hot, we'd need to bring in a guy I would think.

we're not bringing in anyone unless zid is out most of the year. Who do you think we could afford to bring in?

Falk's been one of the good surprises of camp this year. I really like his drive.

Yeah I suppose I'm thinking too hastily, but we'll see how bad it is. I'd think maybe we'd call McKee, or someone may have too many D-men.
