should be the first real good look at NHL players vs. NHL competition. I know Dallas is using some pretty borderline guys, but Crawford pointed out in his interview today (courtesy of ADSP) that he expects Colorado to ice a very competitve lineup that will challange the Stars defensively.
Here's the Avs roster, courtesy of Mile High Hockey
#58 Patrick Bordeleau
#9 Matt Duchene
#11 Philippe Dupuis
#39 T.J. Galiardi
#54 David Jones
#55 Cody McLeod
#40 Mark Olver
#37 Ryan O'Reilly
#26 Paul Stastny
#29 Ryan Stoa
#34 Daniel Winnik
#18 Brandon Yip
#36 Colby Cohen
#10 Kyle Cumiskey
#52 Adam Foote
#6 Jonas Holos
#4 John-Michael Liles
#27 Kyle Quincey
#8 Kevin Shattenkirk
#41 Craig Anderson
#31 Peter Budaj
call me overly optimistic, but I actually favor the Dallas lineup tonight over the Colorado lineup. I think our forwards and maybe even our defense matches up well. The obvious defeciency is in the starting goaltenders and that will probably result in Colorado winning the game. I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that Dallas will outshoot and outplay Colorado by a slight margin.
**It's really up to the 1st line though. We need a good game out of them! I think we should get it..
Sounds like Grossman made a good hit in the corner to seperate the Avs player from the puck and turn the play up the ice, than ****ing Barch had to step in and fight some thug from Colorado that had nothing to do with anything and destroy any play the Stars might have had.
nice to see Grossman playing a bit more physical at least.
