OT: Obtaining a video of a game

Hey all, random question, but does anybody know how I could go about getting a video or DVD of a particular game's broadcast (the entire game, not just the highlights). I appreciate the help!

It depends on what you're looking for.

Nearly every game from 2007-2008 through last season can be accessed via the NHL Vault. It costs $5 a month and you would have to do a screen capture to get it to DVD.

The NHL and Google Video partnered up to archive the entire 2006-2007 season. Link. Just use a YouTube video downloader to download the file.

For everything else, you'll either have to find a tape trader or look at some of the eBay alternatives to find the earlier stuff. Unfortunately, there's not a lot out there.

Also, the following games are on Hulu:

2009 NJ Game 7
2009 PIT Game 2
2009 PIT Game 1
2009 BOS Game 3
2009 BOS Game 7

and for some reason:

Whalers vs. Canadiens 1992 Game 7

Thanks guys, I appreciate it! I was looking for the '06-'07 season opener against the Buffaslugs to see if the ceremony raising the Cup banner was part of it, so I'll check out those videos on Google Video
