I'm getting frustrated with 102.9's game-time coverage to say the least. I hope they are just working out the kinks. I've missed a 1/3 of the game because their feed keeps going out. I've got XM radio, so I can listen to the Atlanta broadcast, but would rather listen to our guys.
Hmmm. I haven't had any trouble at all. I'm just listening on my regular ole radio at home.
No internet feed coming on my Comcast either. At my Bellevue apt. there's ALOT of static and a weak signal. I guess this helps me make my decision about another year of Center Ice t.v.
It's not your Internet feed, it's the stream coming from 102.9. Your choices till they figure this all out are old school radio or XM radio to listen to the feed or lots of frustration trying to listen to the in and out stream from 102.9 online...
okay, I don't understand why Willie Daunic is on 102.9 with callahan doing post game wrapup.
Isn't he employed by 104.5?
Don't know the details of Willy's contract, but I do know that the radio crew for Predators broadcasts have their checks issued through the Predators, so technically he's working for the Preds during broadcasts.

This has been talked about occasionally on 104.5 lately and I haven't gotten any straight answers as to how Willy and Tom are still on 102.9 because it's kinda weird if you think about it, but all Willy has said is that he's glad he was able to continue with it and appreciates people being happy about it. My best guess is because, as someone said, the radio broadcasters are paid by the team. Still it's weird that he jumps from 104.5 to 102.9 then back to 104.5 the next day.

Tom is most definitely employed by the Preds, so there's absolutely no issue there. Willy is interesting, though it's not as if 102.9 is generally a competing radio station, and the station wouldn't be paying his check, they Preds would. That's my guess as to why 104.5 doesn't have an issue.
