Razor relates a brief story of Burish accepting his Stanley Cup ring yesterday in Chicago and then declining the Stars' offer to skip today's morning skate by returning to Dallas on the early flight.

Stars can't manage a shot during their latest PP.

The only positive I can gather from these games is that Kari may allow the Stars to hang around in these games this year.

Razor says that Sutherby has had an excellent training camp, hadn't heard that before.

Vincour has apparently made several good heads-up defensive plays tonight.

Morrow briefly fights McLeod, takes him down to the ice.

Sounded like Ribeiro/McLeod was the original confrontation and that Morrow was the "3rd man in".

Steve Ott credits Desjardins for increasing attention-to-detail during this year's training camp in his intermission interview.

The bench takes an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty? Richards?

There were 19 goals scored in tonight's other 3 preseason games combined.

i think this announcer is one of the few that has to wait til the penalty is said to know what happened instead of looking at what sign the ref is giving.

talking about lehtonen, i think they're trying to jinx him.

Porter scores for Colorado.

Apparently really bad positioning by Grossman and Robidas.

Stars take another unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. They're all over the refs.

Dallas is playing like ****. That's all I can say. I can't actually see the game but I can imagine what it looks like.

The only guy to really show up for them this pre-season on a big level was Kari Lehtonen.

yeah we all not preseason is just preseason but from the sounds of things theres no too much to be overly optimistic about. It doesnt sound like theres a ton of effort.

There wasn't much effort last preseason either, aside from Benn.

Is it time to be worried about our Offense? We've scored (so far) 9 goals in 5 games. 5 of those goals came from a thrashing of the Blues. With offense being our only strength, with such depth in our lines, shouldn't we be doing better?

Is this on Crawford? Is his system not letting his offense stars play their game? Maybe more of the emphasis on Defense this year crippling their opportunities/creativity?

yeah if they don't show up for preseason when are they going to show up? this is supposed to be when they're proving themselves. How are they going to get up to play a weeknight game in the middle of October against Columbus or Nashville.

This is pretty much are full NHL roster playing against a less than impressive Colorado squad and they've generated jack ****.

But yeah, if Lehtonen plays 60+ games he'll keep them respectable even if the effort doesn't improve. He's been awesome.

^ i don't think Lehtonen should be in 60 games. Considering his past I think they should take it a little bit lighter. I think his 70+ game season in ATL (plus his not so healthy off season) is what did him in the first time.

you could hear that one coming from the Avs guy

maybe its the announcer but they sound a bit more enthusiastic now

Morrow scores on a delayed penalty to Colorado. 2-1.

Or maybe Burish?

doesn't change my stance either way. By my count Dallas has been outworked 4 out of 5 preseason games despite dressing very competitive rosters.

Kari Lehtonen's basically stolen this chance for Dallas to win. Don't let him down boys

Lehtonen making a nice clear by himself, however Robidas proceeds to ice the puck going for the empty net.
