A NO from Montreal!! Are you sure?? This is a good trade for the Habs and a very bad one for the Isles.

How about people shut up with these counter offers. They are no way related, we aren't asking for your best players for christ's sake. Seriously, this is getting annoying... There are already two of these "counter-offers" in this thread alone! And it's not like we're offering trash either. Sure, the values are off but it's not as bad as some whiny, in this case Islander fans, make it out to be compared to your dumb offers.

on the contrary it is that bad and I'm a canadien fan, take off your homer glasses and be objective and youd see that

As it stands right now, the trade is in the Habs favor. But everything is relative. Remember the Halak, Ryder, and a 2nd that everyone were laughing at? AK46 is having a good pre-season so far. Now that his troubled brother is gone, he may have a very good season this year. The trade proposal will look a little bit better at the end of this season but it probably will still be in the Habs favor.

Blake Comeau, Hamonic, and a 3rd, for David Desharnais, Yannick Weber, 4th

Subban, Eller, and a 1st for Bruno Gervais, Trent Hunter, and a 7th?

Are they really just as bad??? In the 1st offer, we get a good prospect and an inconsistent forward and a 3rd for a decent ofeensive prospect, an NHL ready defenceman that worked on his biggest flaw and improved on it last year and a 4th.

In the 2nd proposal, we give up our top 2 prospects, if you can still call em prospects, and our 1st round pick for an average defender and a 3rd liner. Oh, wait nevermind, this offer is MUCH better because we do get an AMAZING 7th round pick!

Honestly, you CANNOT think that these offers are anywhere close. Sure, the 1st offer is pretty bad, but no where near as bad as the 2nd. If you really think that they are close in value, then you know nothing about hockey.

Oh, I know, but Joey seems to think that the values wer the same. In my 1st post, I simply said that those types of "counter-offers" are getting old and annoying so people should stop because they are over-exagerating.

There wouldn't be facetious counter offers if the original proposal wasn't piss poor. The counters are a joke. Stop looking into the value of them and how lopsided they are. If they're so annoying, hit the down arrow and just read the next post instead.
