“I’m just trying to keep it simple, but it’s very hard...
Each night I go to bed, doing numbers in my head, doing lines in my head. It’s non-stop (thinking about making the team).” - Derek Stepan

I have a feeling the Avery-Stepan-Fedotenko line will be a line to start the season, they looked great last night. I also have a feeling we will be seeing Boogaard's first fight in a Rangers uniform against the Sens.
LETS GO RANGERS!!

Almost bought tickets to this one, but the old man is being a work-a-holic as usual! (I know you'll read this. )

I think a Dubinsky-Anisimov-Callahan will be awesome.. if they get a few games to get some chemistry going and with the development of Dubi and Anisimov this season, they can become a great second line
Boogard-Boyle-Prust i think will be the 4th line we start the season with, depending if Boyle has a good game here
A 3rd line of Avery-Stepan-Fedotenko looks like a good way to ease Stepan into the NHL without putting too much pressure on him by giving him 1st line minutes and defense pairings against him, especially if they think he is too good for Hartford. Kinda ease him in like Anisimov this past season
And then the first line will be Frolov-PRospal/Christenson-Gaborik? And Kennedy replacing Boyle or Fedotenko when the need arises...? I guess we'll see, two more games left till the real deal
Yes, it is preaseason, but I'm not the only one sensing the fact that is nearing the end of a rather short pre-season, or at least it feels that way to me.
The Senators played a very chippy style in their last game, which was against the Leafs. Granted, this was the battle of Ontario and those teams hate each other, but I am really looking forward to this home and home with Ottawa. I think they will test the Rangers in every way.
And yes, let me say again in case somebody thinks I am overstating things, yes I do realize that the points don't count yet. Still, I see this test as important.
Hope Ottawa makes it to the game on time. They didn't fly out yesterday because of the rain and airport delays. It didn't rain for most of the day yesterday in the NY area but that storm is hitting today.

RB where in the hell do you get all your info from. You are the most knowledgeable person on HF when it comes to little obscure stuff, and it amazes me at some of the stuff that you find. Do you scour every city's hockey happenings each morning, inside knowledge? Im just curious, but keep it all coming because its very much appreciated.
