Trends in Slovnaft Extraliga (Slovakia)

I decided to set up this thread, because there are some interesting facts about young players in slovak Slovnaft Extraliga.

For forwards i decided to choose scoring statistic. Question is: How many players under 25 years there are among 25 best Scoring Leaders?

2010/2011 (at the beginning of the season): 5
http://www.szlh.sk/statistiky/c-0900...tion!61scoring
2009/2010: 5
http://www.szlh.sk/statistiky/c-0001...tion!61scoring
2008/2009: 2
http://www.szlh.sk/statistiky/c-0001...tion!61scoring
2007/2008: 2
http://www.szlh.sk/statistiky/c-0001...tion!61scoring
2006/2007: 2
http://www.szlh.sk/statistiky/c-0001...tion!61scoring

Result:
There is positive trend in Extraliga in last 5 seasons. There is higher number of young scoring leaders.
However this number is still very low. There are 2 realy big problems:
1. Our best young prospects (U18 - especially forwards) leave Slovakia and play junior hockey in CHL.
2. Best young scoring leaders leave Extraliga and play pro hockey especially in czech extraliga and in KHL.

For defenders i decided to choose plus minus statistic. Question is: How many players under 25 years there are among 25 best defenders?

2010/2011 (at the beginning of the season):13
http://www.szlh.sk/statistiky/c-0900...!95minus!95def
2009/2010: 10
http://www.szlh.sk/statistiky/c-0001...!95minus!95def
2008/2009: 4
http://www.szlh.sk/statistiky/c-0001...!95minus!95def
2007/2008: 7
http://www.szlh.sk/statistiky/c-0001...!95minus!95def
2006/2007: 5
http://www.szlh.sk/statistiky/c-0001...!95minus!95def

Result:
There is very positive trend in Extraliga in last 5 seasons. There is really higher number of young defenders that are plus minus leaders (especially in last 2 years).
In my opinion there are some really talented young defenders such as Stajnoch, Hrasko, Brejcak, Kramar, Daloga, Bohunicky, Grundling etc. Some of them plays in KHL (Sersen, P. Mikus) or in AHL (J. Mikus) yet.

For goalies i decided to choose Saves Percentage (or Saving) statistic. Question is: How many players under 25 years there are among 10 best goalies?

2010/2011 (at the beginning of the season): 3
http://www.szlh.sk/statistiky/c-0900...e!95percentage
2009/2010: 3
http://www.szlh.sk/statistiky/c-0001...e!95percentage
2008/2009: 3
http://www.szlh.sk/statistiky/c-0001...e!95percentage
2007/2008: 1
http://www.szlh.sk/statistiky/c-0001...e!95percentage
2006/2007: 4
http://www.szlh.sk/statistiky/c-0001...e!95percentage

Result:
Trend is neutral in last 5 seasons. Development of goalies is natural.
Young goalies can replace best goalies that leave Extraliga.

Result:
Development of young players in Extraliga is not bad. Some aspects are better other worse. However there is positive trend in Extraliga in last 2 years and young players are becoming leaders.
