I liked the effort from the last game. Last chance to see some of the kids play.

Come on now, I wouldn't say that.

We're usually able to play well until about mid-November, before the fail train pulls into the station.

That would be nice... I don't see anyway he wouldn't make the team after last night's game.

He's one of our best forwards... Stepan loos like an NHL vet out there.

16 Forwards remain, 2 injured (Drury, Prospal), leaves 14, meaning two have to sit tonight. Who?

9 D-Men left, Rozsival (groin) and Staal (hip, precaution) out, leaves 7, meaning one sits? Who?

Biron in for a full game?

Can't wait to get one last look at Stepan wearing #57. That #21 is gonna look great on him in Buffalo.

I hope MZA comes in and tears it up tonight. Secure a call up spot in case of injuries down the stretch...

Nice lineup! Welcome back MZA and Weise!

Curious to see who gets to wear an alternate "A" tonight... guess Dubinsky, no one else.

Dubinsky needs to start looking interested... i don't know why he should make this team, playing like that. maybe because he knows he's a "lock" ?

That's actually so cool how the Rangers brought up the wildcards in Dale Weise and Mats Zuccarello Aasen. The chances they make the team just because of this preseason is slim, but it's a great confidence booster to know that those two will be the primary call-ups when a player goes down or can't play. Grachev hasn't looked great, but I wouldn't have minded bringing him up for the game.

Me thinks 6 preseason games might have been 2 games too little... 6 to get the roster set, 2 to tune-up for the season...

Torts said last night he wanted to use White with offensive players but the Rangers top 3 wingers are not playing tonight Torts said White was on the bubble.

Quote:
“Todd’s one of those guys that’s on the bubble as far as where he fits with the team,” Tortorella said. “I want to give him a chance with some offensive people tomorrow. By no means am I saying he’s out of here, but … (his training camp) hasn’t been great.”

Meh, i think 6 is perfect. Give them a nice week break now till the season starts. Most teams aren't going to come out of the gate in mid season form anyway.

one thing that I like what i'm seeing in these preseason games is that they don't give up if they're down a goal or two, they keep fighting.
