Oscar Lindberg scores the GWG in game 7 of the SEL-playoffs, moving Skellefteć up to the semi-finals.

He has 2 goals and 1 assist so far in the playoffs, fourth best on the team.

Here it is, at 1.28 when Oscar Lindberg steal the puck from Elitserien MVP Magnus Johansson and puts it in the top corner from a bad angle (start watching at 1.14, and you'll get a Joakim Lindström goal as a bonus!).

Do you have a link to where the Skellefteć playoff stats are posted? I haven't been able to find one. (I am inept, it seems)

http://www.hockeyligan.se/index.php?estat=start

Then "Spelarstatistik" -> Lag: scroll down to Skellefteć..... and you get the Player-statistics.

In your opinion, does he look like an NHL talent? He has been so quiet and un-hyped that I pretty much forgot about him.

Great potential. Very allround, Hands, movement-pattern, hockey-sense it's all there but he just hasn't burst out as I expected him this season. Have potential to lead a top 2 line in SEL(atm), but hasn't gotten much out of it when he's gotten the oppurtunity. Been playing a checking game in 4th mostly and done it well. Good checker and hits hard despite his size.

I have high hopes for him next year (offensively), if he doesn't go to the A's.
I would put him in the same category as a guy like John Norman.

Edit: An Ottawa fans opinion after watching the game:

CHL PLAYOFFS have started...

Mark Visentin made 27 saves to earn his first career playoff shutout backstopping the IceDogs to a 2-0 win for a 2-0 series lead over the Brampton Battalion.

Quebec sweeps its series in the first round.

Domingue: 4-0-0, 2.00, 0.922, 1 SO

He had a shaky start, allowed a total of 6 goals in the first two games but played really well in the last two.

Looks like Moncton is on the ropes and maybe Saginaw too.

Gormley and Szwarz could get some time in SA - ideally playoff time.

And Bloodoff's Rockets have advanced.

Gormley has had a tough series. He hasn't looked very good at all. I don't know if he's still feeling the effects of the knee injury but he's looked like a totally different player since Christmas, like he's lost a step. He was dominant just about every game before the injury.

Maybe he just needs an offseason to get back into top shape.

Been looking for a Gormley back from injury report on the prospects board, have not seen him lite up the stat sheet like before the injury. Did he come back too soon?

And Gormley should be off to San Antonio provided he's healthy.

Moncton's year is done.

Hard to say. The team as a whole has gone downhill since December so it may be a byproduct of that, but he just isn't dominating the PP or winning the races to pucks. He just doesn't look as mobile out there as early on in the season. He's been giving up more turnovers, etc. He may still be feeling the injury, he may be gassed or it could be the supporting cast. Tough to pinpoint.

As a side note, they got eliminate tonight so we'll probably see soon if he ends up in SA for the rest of the year.

On Thursday Chris Brown's Michigan knocked out North Dakota and Brett Hextall in the NCAA Frozen Four.

Arizona native Luke Moffatt is also on Michigan.

Wonder if Hextall will go to San Antonio this weekend. Doubt it.

Visentin's head is getting big now that he's signed his contract - its throwing off his game.

http://www.ontariohockeyleague.com/s...how/game/49634

I'm sure his game will come around, probably starting next game.

And Domingue is playing his best hockey of the year.

6-0-0 / 1.67 / 0.940 (second in the league)

1.00 / 0.969 in his last 4 games.

I would like to know this as well.

Watched this guy play and practice when the Kings rookies came here before the start of the season. The guy has incredible reflexes and athletic ability. He kind of reminds me of Fleury. Who I think is the most talented goalie in the league, but talent of course does not mean you're the best. What a great year both our draft picks are having.
