^^^hmm I detect a trend. Canadians can't listen to this piece of ****.

huzah

I wish I could listen to this game

**the official scoring on the goal seems to be Blindenbacher from Niskanen and Segal.

Yea, I'm seeing online that it's Blindenbacher (Segal, Niskanen).

And now Benn. YAY!

Yeah, Blindenbacher had the shot but Burish the Blues announcers said tipped it.

Ah, there we go.
Niskanen was doing too well for this to be realistic of what to expect this season.

the Blues PP always seem to have the Stars' number, so It's nice to see them kill that one off.

definetly another encouraging sign that maybe some progress has taken place on special teams.

Sounded like a big save by Kari on McDonald on that kill. Lots of oohs and aahs from the crowd, which is mic'ed up extremely well.

Blindenbacher seems to be doing very well with us. I remember really liking us signing him.
You think he will be with us opening night?

good period. It's interesting that alot of the depth guys are getting some good minutes despite all the PP time early in the period. most every depth player on the team is at 4-5 minutes with an interesting exception being Blindenbacher who is leading the way with over 8.

I also like that on the display (Ice Tracker on NHL.com) the majority of the Stars shots are coming from the slot area whereas they are keeping the Blues away from Kari. Most times if you can get the more and better shots than most times you'll win with few problems

looks like St. Louis came out pretty hard there. 4 shots in 3 minutes. Now that Dallas has weathered the storm hopefully they put the pressure back on Halak

Pang makes an interesting point about Kari -- he said that one of the reasons that Nieuwendyk was willing to trust him with the starting job and a 3 year deal was that they both went through similar back injuries and Joe feels like he shouldn't be hindered after the type of surgery he had.
